We walked in around 3pm on a Thursday afternoon. No one greeted us, 4 customers total In restaurant. Very little eye contact or a hint of kindness. Bartender showed very little interest until we were presented with the bill.

Idk man if you think this place is over priced then to that I say get your money up!!! The food, the craft drinks and the vibes are it here! Management is doing a fine job because the employees here are happy and doing phenomenal. Both bartenders names John can make pretty much anything and take pride in their delicious drinks. I really love the service at this fine establishment and this review is long overdue. I don't have a favorite drink or food item here because I love everything they have to offer but if I had to chose I'd go with the carnitas burrito and the hibiscus sour

The staff was rude and ignored my wife completely. I will not be returning nor recommending this restaurant. The food is way over priced and my wife's margarita was not made correctly. Upon ordering our food and drinks we had to repeat ourselves 4-5 times and yet they were still wrong. My wife's margarita was made incorrectly and was the wrong margarita but when we asked our server about the mistake our server said that what your wife ordered was cheaper anyway and just walked away. Wow. Just Wow! Money is not the issue it is your lack of attention and respect for your customer. This Latino will not be coming back to eat at this so called taco restaurant.

Expensive, cheapest taco is 5.00 plus tax with very little meat. It does taste good. Gets very busy after 11:30 am on weekday. Small place. Nice

Took an attempt to try this place yesterday. Came in sat down it took about 25 minutes for someone to ask if we'd like anything to drink. Michelada had way too much mix and hardly any beer. The mix was good but was just way too much. It took about another 25 minutes to see if we wanted anything else and at that point I just left. The fact that service was this bad and it was so empty in the restaurant was ridiculous. Seemed like everyone working there was having the time of their life with each other and just goofed off.

met a couple of friends there, so the atmosphere was great. the server was wonderful. tacos yummy esp the shrimps taco, we were there for happy hour so reasonably priced but don't miss out on the chips and salsa. Delish and the chips were warm and fresh. will be going again for sure . friend got the breakfast tacos and loved it.

My favorite go-to for a last minute bite (i.e. didn't make reservations) in Claremont, for sure. Fantastic interior and fantastic service every time I've been. I don't toss those words out lightly. Also, the food has been excellent. And - to be honest, especially compared to other Claremont locales - the prices are very reasonable. If I had one complaint, and it's not a big one, I would give the chips a B. I think it's because they're home-made on site, but they're often just a smidge soggy )over-oily. This is a minor quibble, however. Thus, the 5 stars. Oh. And the salsas are great!

Tried Sancho's for the first time. Scene: LOVE the decor! Right up my alley. And although the song pics were great, Just what I was listening to back in LBC in the 90's, it's a bit clamorous for my taste now. The music sets a party atmosphere, but doesn't set a mood for relaxation. Service was very friendly. I love the little bar tables by the windows. The dining room is very small. Cute little bar too. It would be a fun place to rent out for a private party! House Margarita: Our first margarita was so perfect. Nectar of the Gods. But in a small tumbler with ice, so $9 for a HH marg seemed a buck or two high. Still, so good it was worth it. The second one was much more sour and our server said she made it with lemon (only lime in the first one), as she's been instructed. We let her know the first one was far better. I do not like lemon in a margarita. She was kind enough to get us a little shot of agave to sweeten it up. Chips: The first chips we got were warm and crisp. The chips are fresh and made to order, which is nice, so they can take time to come out, which is fine, but the second batch was not fully cooked/crisped, so they were still chewy and unpleasant. We took them home to try toasting them later. I think they were just taken out too soon. The guac was heavy on the citrus for my taste, so just okay. Burritos: Mi padre got the Surf n Turf Burrito, which was delicious. I got the Flaco which was interesting, but just okay. I think if the ingredients were mixed together more and some cheese was added, it would have been pretty good. But too many bites of just artichoke and spinach (super healthy) w/o the bean to round it out. Still, very nice quality ingredients. I almost burned away my taste buds by pouring Hector's Spicy Sauce on it, something I will not do again. The verde sauce is good. Not cheap at $20 and $17 respectively, but huge. I could only eat half. I'd definitely split one next time. All in all, Sancho's is very cute and I'm sure a fun place to bring your teens. I can see returning for a margarita in the cute little window booth (if they hold the lemon) and a fish burrito sometime, but I'm not in a hurry.

Stellar service. Great Music. Tasty num nums... what more could a single gal ask for???I wandered in this past Sunday from my holiday shopping and was STARVING when the bartender talked me into staying for the Happy Hour, YES, you read that correctly - Happy Hour on a Sunday (gasp clutching pearls) I ordered the Federale & Yard Bird tacos and had a cold Modelo. BTW the meat on both of the tacos was moist and flavorful and that Chubbie sauce was a nice compliment to both choices,.This location is where the old "Heroes" used to be but is much smaller now. I like the atmosphere. It reminds me of a 'service industry' after-work haunts. As I hung out and watched the later afternoon NFL games (I believe they had 4 TV's) people came in and out for a quick bite to eat... most didn't linger, unlike myself LMAO I was talked into trying the Grilled Shrimp taco that was delicious as well but my tortilla fell apart. This one I partook with my signature 'French Martini' which was refreshingly delightful! Lexi is AMAZING!!The music was old school R&B the evening I sat there and took up residence... but if you know me then YOU KNOW ME - I will cop a squat for a while if the music is good. I will most definitely be back!Respectfully Reviewed.
