I stopped by this bakery to check it out after hearing that this bakery has been around for a long time and has built a great reputation in the community in Claremont!
I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices and the consistently amazing flavors and textures of their baked goods. Everything tasted fresh, well made, and clearly crafted with care.
The staff was welcoming, helpful, and made the experience even more enjoyable.
Some Crust Bakery truly lives up to its reputation. It’s a wonderful place to stop by if you’re in the area for quality baked goods, fair prices, and great service.

Took over 20 minutes for a simple iced latte, tried it, was not good at all. Seemed like it was rushed just get it out at that point, employee didn’t even apologize and looked away. Poor poor excuse for customer service and really disappointed. Would not come back ever again. 👎👎

This bakery has been around for years and years. It is the go to bakery for most locals. The cakes, pies, breads and pastries are all freshly made and sold until they run out. This is a great place to order a specialized birthday cake. Also, they offer holiday offerings that you can order ahead of time.Such as pies et cetera.

They only had one vegan option - a gluten-free chocolate chip cookie - when we went in, but it was very good. You wouldn't have know it was gluten-free except that it just melted in the mouth. A warning though: their coffee is excellent but very strong! I could feel my heart racing for hours afterwards.

We had Some Crust prepare our wedding cake. It came out beautiful and delicious. The events coordinator, Gaby, helped us figure out some good flavor combinations after our initial tasting. We and the guests loved their banana flavor cake with banana buttercream and chocolate ganache.
We had the pleasure of having Some Crust bake and deliver our wedding cake earlier this month, and we are so incredibly thankful that we were able to go with them, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a bakery for a cake for their wedding! They made the whole process of choosing a wedding cake so incredibly smooth and easy, and it eliminated all stress with this portion of the wedding.
The planning process was so fun, and we got to try so many different flavors (all of which were incredibly delicious). Their staff were great at helping us design the cake. They were even able to deliver the cake all the way from Claremont to Fallbrook, and with that included, it was still cheaper than some of the other cake companies that were right next door to our venue.
The day of the wedding, the cake was delivered without a hitch, the cake was delicious, and we had leftovers to eat. It still remained delicious enough to eat over the next week and surprisingly was still moist and delicious every day we ate it. We would highly recommend to anyone considering Some Crust for their wedding needs or just for any delicious baked goods in general!
