Service was good. Staff were friendly, attentive and nice.

Unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet my expectations, especially compared to other well-known steakhouses such as Gwen or CUT in LA. Steak and burger were ok. Fries weren't to my liking as they were the soft kind.

However, if you're looking for a local steakhouse in the Inland Empire then it's still worth a visit as Meat Cellar is up there on the IE list (probably top 5).

I’ve been here now a total of 3 times and I say I won’t come back each time and yet here I am for the third time. I keep coming back as friends keep saying to give it another try. But honestly, it sucks. For a place called meat cellar. They should really learn how to cook a proper steak. Each time I go I ask for med/rare. The steak comes out either blue rare( 5 second sear, I could still hear the cow mooing!) or well done hard like a dinner plate. The amount of times I’ve sent steaks back should’ve bankrupt them. My 6yr can cook a steak better than these guys. I really hope they come to their senses and change their name or how they cook. My wife even got the fish and it was dry as a bone. I don’t understand how people call this place good. Service isn’t bad but food is awful. Go somewhere else. You’ve been warned :)

Had an amazing time at the Johnnie Walker event.

The whisky was outstanding, the cocktails were crafted with care, and the food was pure chef’s kiss.

A truly great night with people who know how to do things right. Love the team at Meat Cellar. Will be back soon!

Fantastic. While not inexpensive, good value. Knowledgeable servers. A few hiccups in service and the kitchen the last couple of visits, but they were very apologetic, replaced an expensive wagyu cut that was overcooked, and took items that were late to the table off the bill. The ambience really needs work, as it's a very loud venue -- all hard surfaces, no acoustics.

Recommended dishes: Cornbread, Brussels Sprouts, Wagyu, Charred Octopus, Westholme Australian Bone in Wagyu Ribeye, Roasted Bone Marrow

My girl wanted to try this place for the longest time. We were very excited about the atmosphere and the nice reviews that others have placed. Although the sit-down service was friendly, it was extremely slow. Even waiting for the bill and for it to be processed was excruciating. The food was good, but not enough to overcome this deficit. Unfortunate deterrent to my coming back and what otherwise would’ve been a nice experience.

There is a separate butcher shop area where you can buy exotic cuts. The gent behind the counter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Expensive, delicious meals work well for anniversaries, this place fit the occasion. The meals start with a delicious complimentary cornbread muffins that served as a great precursor of what ro expect. They were cooked to perfection, soft & moist but not too flimsy that theycrumble when you spread butter on 'em,, and the honey butter paired exceptionally well with them. 1st time getting wagyu, we were able to pull the meat apart with a spoon OMG! About 100 bux per head to EAT!. Their mac&cheese was other-wordly. Not at all the type of mac and cheese for your flavorless, chicken-nugget-loving kids. It was an EXPLOSION of garlic and creaminess. Also tried their pouting. The dish was a little too salty, & I'm a salt loving guy. Fancy water bottles & good service.

Health conscious selections! And get this... If you ask for a medium rare steak - that's exactly what you'll get!

Also... make sure to visit Dom, Ken or Pablo at the bar. Their craft cocktails are THEE BEST in the area - hands down.

The Meat Cellar in Claremont is a culinary treasure! The inviting, upscale ambiance creates a warm, cozy vibe. Service was impeccable—our server, wish I had caught Her name, was welcoming, courteous, and recommended a stellar Cabernet. The tomahawk steak was the highlight: unbelievably juicy, perfectly cooked, and bursting with rich flavor. It was a meal to remember. With generous portions and fair prices, The Meat Cellar delivers an unforgettable experience. Five stars for exceptional hospitality and cuisine!

The IE has arrived.

“All the good things. That’s what we use and what is important to my family,” says Dillon. It’s clear he is invested in this experience. Dillon, Ken and Duke provided a responsive and personalized experience typical of a Michelin star experience. Custom mezcal cocktail, charred octopus, Wagyu burger, sun dried tomato risotto and perfectly selected wine.

LA and OC peeps-stay in your place. The IE has arrived and we want places like this to remain real.

Food is good but not sure I’m interested in going back because:

They add a service charge for using credit card and they don’t tell you about it

The waiter kept pushing us to order more food even though we ordered a fair amount already for two people

The suggested tip on the receipt starts at 20% and goes to 25%. Is it going to be 30% soon?

The parking lot is small
