Sorry to say, but it's a big no. Almost everything was reheated, and it didn't seem neither cooked the same day of our visit. The patatas bravas were saggy, and the shrimps (the gambas con tocino) were hard as if heated and reheated twenty times. The mussels were chewy in a bowl of marinara sauce (no please) and the croquetas de pescado were a sort of mousse inside, no fish taste at all. The rest of the tapas were without guts and without glory (gazpacho, tortilla and the octopus). The service was not really good. The only positive thing is that it is very nice inside, nice decorations and atmosphere. What a disappointment!

Tasty authentic food and great atmosphere.

In the historical area of the city. My friends were not used to sharing the plates because they lacked culture. They just couldn't understand the concept. I liked the food. This is one of the rare places that had the feel of Spain and Spanish food. The food was delicious and not a bad price.

Would recommend if already in the area. Had dinner on a weekday. No wait if you show up by 6pm. Starts to fill up by 630pm. The restaurant doesn't have TVs or obnoxiously loud music, so it's easy to talk and hear each other. Very cozy inside with cool decor.

We only ordered tapas. They ranged from OK to pretty good. The chicken empanada was delicious. Strongly recommend that dish. Didn't have anything that was bad, but to be fair they have 40+ tapas and I only tried 5 of them.

Service was attentive and warm.

Friendly staff and always a nice atmosphere. It’s just the food… pretty forgettable and so incredibly SALTY! Been to Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, and Cordoba… and I don’t remember the food feeling so heavy and salty in Europe. Otherwise as authentic of a Spanish dining experience that you could get in the US.

Come here for the atmosphere and Sangira, not the food.

Our family was there for dinner. The food was good. The service was good. I felt like to be in somewhere in Spain. There is nothing to complain.

Intimate tapas spot in Claremont. Came here with the family for dinner on a Friday and immensely enjoyed it. Note that they don’t take reservations, so I’d recommend getting there early. We got there at 6:30 and waited for 45 minutes to get a table. Free street parking. Credit cards accepted.

Food-wise, we ate the following:
- Bacon wrapped dates - I really liked this; definitely get it
- Iberico ham and Manchego cheese - a nice charcuterie board with Spanish classics
- Garlic shrimp - on the small side, but the shrimps are large and the sauce very buttery
- Oxtail - my dad especially liked this for its heartiness
- Tocino - a tad oily, but still tasty
- Tortilla española - you can get a slice or a whole one; I would pass on this since it’s a bit flat and underseasoned
- Pan con tomate - a fresh dish with very crunchy bread
- Paella - you must get this; note that it takes time to prepare so it’ll come towards the end of the meal
- Valencia salad - this was a bright salad thanks to the citrus and had a generous amount of Manchego cheese
- Calamari - this was nicely crispy and my mom loved it
- Crema Catalana - this is a fun dessert to get since they flambée it tableside

Outstanding real Spanish tapas. Amazing paella and much more!
It is justifiably packed almost always, I only wish they had a few more tables or me more time... Still, best authentic spanish food. It does not get any better.

Wow...I've been to spanish restaurants all over the world including hundred of them in spain and would have to say this was by far the worst one yet. The only they they got right was the ham and cheese....pretty hard to screw that up when all you had to do was slice. The tortilla Española was chewy...croquettes hard as a rock and my wife had to spit out the boquerones after one bite. The only redeeming quality was the friendly waitress that made me a mojito when none were on the menu. Glad we're not locals so no need to go back. Had to take the grandkids to McDonald's after because they refused to eat much....and they beg grandma to make spanish food all the time.

As someone who spent a whole summer in Spain I can say the food here is excellent and tastes exactly like Spanish cuisine. The beer is excellent even though they’re bottled but come in a nice chilled glass and service was 10/10. They have a huge variety of “Tapas” which are basically appetizers but will definitely fill you up. I will definitely be coming back here again. Dallas and Gabriel took care of us fantastically !

Once an amazing restaurant. I have eaten at this restaurant over the course of 20 years. In that time, the food has went from very good to sub par. Cutting corners on their original recipes reduction of portions. And higher prices has led this to be a three star restaurant.
To bad :(
