Food was very delicious but we were left so confused as to why the service was so inattentive. Whenever we needed anything it seemed like none of the staff were paying attention to us. We weren’t seated for a while, we didn’t get our orders for a while, our water cups sat empty for most of the meal, and even when we were asking for the check it seemed we were acknowledged but still were kept waiting. Just bummed because the food was delicious but we were sad we felt so ignored.

We had been wanting to try this place for awhile. We used to love La Luna Negra in Pasadena and we were hoping this place was similar. Sadly it was not. The food was not good. Had the pan con Tomate basically dry toasted bread that was cold with a tomato paste w zero flavor. We had the chicken empanada it looked like no other empanada I’ve seen or eaten in my life. Came with a weird sauce and was square. I’ll say it was okay but just not at all a traditional empanada in a way. The chicken croquettas were dry and flavorless. But the worst was the paella. We waited over 30 minutes for it and were so disappointed. We’ve had plenty of paella and this was bad, the rice was so mushy and it was beyond bland! No seasoning no flavor. Just mush. I’ve never seen paella served with zucchini and green beans on top. Weird! Even the sangria wasn’t great served with no ice in little glasses and the only fruit was teeny tiny bits of watermelon. I will say the place is cute and that ambience is nice. Our server was nice. But if you like good food I do not recommend

Tried this place last night and was amazed at the authentic spanish flavor of the paella, the gambas were also great as an appetizer, I've gone to spain a lot of times and can tell authentic from non, this place does feel like little spain with the flavor, this place doesn't dissapoint, will be coming back again, perfect for a weekend night of tasteful international dining, the prices were reasonable, so all the better

Love their tapas! Great way to try different dishes in one visit. Highly recommend the sangria! The decorations are beautiful, and the whole place gives an authentic Spanish atmosphere.

The dining area is great. It’s nicely decorated and has great low lighting. 5 stars
The drinks were good as well 4 stars
The food was terrible. The calamari was very skinny and tough. The entree seafood was also very tough. It was tougher than a tire. The food was very bland and watery. 1 star
The service staff didn’t clear our table of our glasses and appetizer plates for a long time. We wanted to order more drinks but they would just pass by us and have their back towards us when servicing another table. Another table that got there before us got their calamari appetizers way before us even though we ordered the same thing and order way before them. 1 star
I really liked the feel and energy of the place, which is why it’s unfortunate that I will not be going back or recommending the place to any one.

Wow what a wonderful meal!!! We actually found them by luck. The horrible restaurant on the corner turned us away because they were too lazy and unprofessional to accommodate a party of 6. we walked down the street and noticed Viva Madrid and decided to give it a try and wow...were we pleasantly surprised and happy!!! food was amazing, service was outstanding and yes, we will be back!!!

We took our mother/ mother in law here for a birthday dinner. Just my husband, his mother and myself. Couldn't have been more disappointed. Ordered stuffed mushrooms, rabo de torro, patatas bravas, cooked veggies, and calamari. The best thing was the wine and our bread with oil and vinegar. Calamari looked undercooked but it was like eating leather. Honestly awful and my mother in law was so excited to order this. I didn't say anything about how bad it was until she did because she never complains. The Rabo was no where to be found in the soup of liquid it came in... we were laughing trying to find what we were supposed to eat. Lots of bones... no meat. Patatas bravas were missing any kind of cream which.... if you go to Spain many areas fix it differently so I was like.... it was meh. Nice kick but no pizzazz. The veggies were OK but nothing to write home about. The last thing to come was the stuffed mushrooms with chorizo. We looked at the tiny little brown balls like what the heck is that?? Tasted as bad as they looked. My 84 year old mother in law who never complains was like.... Nope! No thank you. She had one and was done. Honestly I regreted eating the 2nd one but did it because I was still hungry. Couldn't have been more disappointed with our food. My mother in law from Spain and my husband were very disappointed and noted to never bring any of our family here. Embarrassing! Sorry... but no bueno!

We enjoyed a fabulous meal while visiting with friends. The tapas menu is extensive. We ordered 2 servings of the Halibut. Next time I will order the entree so I don't have to share. The pork loin was a little dry but tasty. The bacon wrapped dates were a great end to the meal. The food came out quick. The service was very good even though it was extremely busy.

The food quality is pretty bad that is just a small dish of precooked salty food. We were seated at the hall outside the restaurant that no fan or air conditioner that we were miserable, especially the foods are the worse food that I ever had. Since we’re seated outside, our waitress didn’t pay much attention to us. We were surprised that such a restaurant got such high ratings. The only good thing of this restaurant is the Spanish decoration.
