We really like this newer restaurant located near the Shell station at Clayton and YVR. The tamales are amazing and the refried beans are the tastiest around-we decided to order from here in catering amounts for a large family dinner. So glad to have this yummy choice nearby.

Food is very fresh and delicious. Restaurant is clean and the staff were very helpful and nice. We got the chicken crunch wrap, brisket fiesta burrito, chips and salsa. Next time I'll post pictures. It was so good I forgot to!

This was the first time visiting and I was very impressed. I got the super burrito with chicken. It was tasty and had a decent amount of chicken. I got the super nachos with birria. They were so good! It was the best birria I've had! My husband got the crispy chicken taco combo. He said everything was great. The salsa is fantastic and the chips felt like they were made in house. The guac was pretty good as well. Customer service was good as well. We will definitely be going back.

My husband and I are always looking for solid Mexican spots around town, and we really enjoyed La Chata last weekend. Everything we got was really yummy. My favorite was their pastor tacos. The service was the best part, everyone was very attentive and sweet. We will definitely be back!

good food, good service, but watch the bill. They tend to overcharge even though it's only a couple of dollars still makes a difference if you go a lot. Plus they're really skimpy on the chips.

Service was great, portion size is filling, salsas are flavorful and so is the meat. Fries are just that, over meat they can get soggy quickly, but we notice this at almost any place that has carne asada fries locally, have to go to San Diego for the real ones! DoorDash also has the reflected reasonable prices as well! We are content, and have ordered again. Is it out of this world amazing, no but the meat is definitely flavorful. You can also order from here at the local Clayton wine bar Roadside so that's a big plus!

My son and I went there, tonight. Generous portions, and made me a Chicken Chimichanga, even though it’s not current menu. The flavor was great, and the chicken very tender. I liked the addition of the radishes and carrots on the side. (Slightly pickled)
Fast service and friendly, too. We will go back.

The shrimp ceviche was good. I'm super picky about ceviche, too. The food was good here. I had regular small tacos, fried tacos, and a ceviche tostada. Which all passed in my book. The service was okay. The original guy helping us was great, but the other 2 younger guys were lagging or were confused when we talked to them. We spoke English & and Spanish, so not sure what their reason was for not communicating well? Maybe they just were having a bad day?? I don't know. But I'm definitely going back for more food, lol.Parking: Free & safe parking lot
The prices have gone to Pluto since the new owner took over from Cinco D Mayo, but darn good food except for the beans; worst beans I e ever had. I'd give 5 stars if the prices were normal and if the beans tasted good.

Crispy tacos are smaller and not at all as tasty as the tacos Cinco de Mayo used to serve. They don’t even have hot red sauce to go, just a bland chopped tomato sauce. Not going back. I'll mIss Cinco de Mayo.

My boyfriend and I LOVE this place! It’s our go-to when we get that burrito craving! Their Fiesta burritos are huge and flavorful, everything is cooked fresh and their salsas are amazing!! Love the service, it’s always so fast and the employees are very kind! :) 10/10 recommend!!
