“Traveling by myself out of town I happened upon this bar. Just walking by I could tell it looked like my kind of place. It was a Friday night and the bar was full and most tables were occupied. I debated leaving but something about this bar made we want to stay. I ordered a drink and stood awkwardly in the middle of the bar. A few minutes later a bartender (who I later learned was the owner) came over and said he had made a seat for me at the bar. Are you serious??? That has never happened to me before in a bar. I settled in to my seat and was immediately greeted by 2 women sitting next to me. They were so sweet and we chatted about random things. The Dj was starting to play and I knew I had found my new favorite bar. I had to buy some merchandise so I can rep The Fifth back in Michigan. Big shout out to the owner, employees and customers. You made this girl from the Mitten feel right at home. Keep doing what you are doing!“

“Seth is amazing!! I try making it in on Saturdays because he's usually in and he is quick with service, somehow makes time to conversate while at the same time taking care of everyone at the bar and at tables.. Such a sweetheart, and always makes my night with his humor and service..“

“We love Old Town Clovis and like to patronize businesses downtown. But we had a horrible experience at Old Town Clovis Cafe. Old Town Clovis Cafe 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND! Check in to be seated They take our name - 25 minutes Tell us we can’t wait inside so we sit at a table right outside of the door Watch two other groups of three go through same process At 20 minutes we watch a couple go in and not come out Tom goes in to check where we are on the list The person that took our name, that told us to wait outside, tells my husband that she called our name and we didn’t answer He asked “so you called it in here?” “Yes” “But you told us to wait outside” “Yes you can’t wait in here” “You called our name in here and we are outside?” “Yes. I don’t go outside to call names” We started to sit down in a booth anyway but decided that we couldn’t stay As we are leaving she asks if we weren’t staying and Tom informed them that we couldn’t eat somewhere that treated customers like that.“

Their outdoor seating is very pleasant, with a nice olive tree and a fountain.

“First time visiting this place. It was very pleasant. The wait staff were great! The menu had a great variety and we can't wait to go back and taste some of the other dishes. Overall my husband and I give it a four thumbs up. The food was delicious. The beer was a good variety as well.“

“Never been in this place but heard the food is very good. Went in and they had a great choice to choose from but decided to play it safe on my first visit. Order the Roast Beef Dip with fries. I’m telling you the meat was so tender, au jus was perfect and the bread was so fresh I would have bet it just came out of the oven. Add to that some friendly service and all equals a Great! Lunch, I’ll be back to experience other menu items.“

“Love teppanyaki and their hot and spicy sauce. The chef was very entertaining and skilled this time which is what you are hoping for when paying teppanyaki prices for dinner. I have gone to other spots in t the past couple of years and have left disappointed with the interaction with the teppanyaki chef or their skill level in being entertaining. I don't want to pay over $100 for a meal for myself and my kids if I am not going to have an experienced skilled teppanyaki chef conducting the meal. I have always left satisfied with the service I have received at this restaurant.“

“OMG!!! Highly recommend Olivia for your waiter!!! Good service and food. The fish are so COOL and I love the little crab!! So I named it Crambo :)

Parking: I don’t know the number of spots there, but I do know that the parking is good depending on the day!

Kid-friendliness: All of the food is kid friendly! And the waiter (Olivia) she gave my son’s ice cream!

Wheelchair accessibility: You’re able to access the door and able to sit, but if you want to sit down you might have to move some chairs :)“
