Don Pepe Taqueria is a clean and quiet spot, perfect for a late breakfast of beer and tacos. The comfortable benches and pumping AC make it a great escape on a scorcher of a day. The spicy shrimp tacos are very tasty, but they are so messy they aren’t enjoyable to eat, as the contents spill out no matter how hard one tries. The best pastor is around the corner now, and all the food is amazing, with prices being the cheapest in town. The breakfast burritos have beans that were salty the first time but seasoned much better the second time, and every salsa offered is super good. The food is fresh and good, with great prices and great service, as one taco serves as two, giving a good bang for the buck. There are lots of taco choices and salsa, making it a good grab especially on a budget. Since Covid, prices are on par for what you get, though the self-serve salsa bar can be messy and seem unsanitary.
