I grew up eating El Pollo Loco so I did not complain when the prices went up nor when they started having the tiniest salsa cups. But the service we got today was awful enough to where I may not go back. Mom and I went through drive thru, and we wanted separate orders but they said they dont allow that...okay, fine. They always seem to be out of chicken and the drive through takes a long time. Luckily I have learned this and don't go there if I am in a hurry. But there have been time where I have waited a while in the drive through just to find out that they are out of some of the chicken. No one wants to wait 10 minutes to order just to find out they don't have what you want, and the still be stuck sitting in the drive through.

Loved this experience! As a grad student on a tight budget the fire grilled combos are perfect, filling, and affordable. Reminds me of home and my grandmother's cooking. I was served by Lidia who was very sweet and left me smiling!
