Busy place in the mornings, friendly staff but the espresso tasted over extracted which gives it a bitter bite, even in a latte. They need to adjust the grind size/ temp or maybe have an experienced barista come in and dial the shots in.
I think they're the best coffee in town, maybe the Central Valley.
Cool baristas. Large patio w/ plenty of seating w/ tame-ish birds. Next to good restaurants and other places to walk to, like a bookstore (barn).
Expect to see plenty of Hume Lake T shirts.
It's a louder cafe usually seating larger crowds, so do noise-cancelling headphones if you're there to sip and read / veg-out.

“Can’t stroll through the gateway of the Sierras without a kuppa joy in your hands and a smile on your face” is how I remember the saying my grandpa always said. “Wouldn’t it be cool if they could do a sequoia foam instead of a heart” I’d always replied.
