Went on a Sunday around 11:30 so it was super packed inside. Upon arrival, we weren’t greeted by any of the staff and we were standing while everyone was seated and eating. After a few moments, we asked staff if we can just sit anywhere in which he replied that we can. The outside seating was also packed, forcing us to sit with strangers. On top of that, the amount of ants and flies was SICKENING! We sat at the tables for about 20 minutes before asking staff if we can be served. Food came about 20 minutes later, and was surprisingly delicious. So, if you like good food and dont mind literal swarms of flies and ant colonies under your feet, then by all means. However, if this is a place you were thinking about taking your family, theres dozens of family owned businesses here in the Coachella Valley that offer great food AND cleanliness. Great food, horrible service, unclean environment.

Good food, eh service, flys everywhere.

I was a party of 3. When we arrived we were told to sit anywhere, we sat outside which is beautifully set up but not enough seats for the amount of people that seem to come in and out. The patio was unfortunately overwhelmed by ants and flies everywhere. We weren’t greeted by a server for about 10 minutes so I went to ask for service and still waited another 5 minutes before who I assume was a busser came to leave a chip and dip appetizer. Then a waiter came to help us but I still had to ask him for a menu because I had never received one. After we put in our order the food came out fairly quick and was exceptional; neither me or my family could enjoy our food without fanning ourselves so that the flies wouldn’t get on our food . The waiter only checked on us once after receiving our food. Over all It was one of the most overwhelming and overstimulating experiences I’ve had eating out on a patio at a restaurant.

Overall the food is very good. Solid menudo, stopped in on four different occasions over a few months and it was no fluke, mexicali flautas ( the mini dozen) pretty fire, carne asada tacos nice flavor. Their only bad mark is speed (not mad but it can be frustrating). Make sure you got some time because its all hand-made and practically to order. If you're not in a hurry definitely stop in for a meal.

This is the ideal of what Mexican food in the US is supposed to be. Cierre mis ojos, and I'm having huitlacoche and flor de calabaza quesadillas (a vegetarian delight) on a small plastic chair on a sidewalk at a Mexico City puesto, washing it down with an agua jamaica grande. Tortillas and tostaditas are thick and fresh, hecho en la casa. La Noria is la comida del pueblo autentico. So good.

The best authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had! Friendly and fast service too.

Very slow service, lasting up to 45 minutes for the customer to receive their food.

The staff was very accommodating and attentive. We were traveling with elderly and the waitress and waiter were very sweet. The food was delicious and large proportions. We had the flautas and huarache Azteca. The agua fresca was really good too.

This was my first time at La Noria, at the recommendation of a Palm Springs Life Magazine article online. The restaurant did not disappoint! It’s a very intimate indoor dining room with more seating available on their patio. The small indoor space is like a loving hug from your tia - inviting and comforting. The food is incredible. I had two tacos al pastor with a side of beans and rice; and it hit the spot. The meat was savory and well-seasoned. The portions were perfect. This was one of the only lunches at a Mexican restaurant where I didn’t feel like I was uncomfortably rolling out the door after the meal. I’ll definitely be back.
