I had been here once before - both times on a bicycle trip through Coalinga. I was reminded just how friendly the staff is and how much I liked the atmosphere. It seemed like the locals and the staff knew each other and people talked between tables, even talking to us outsiders. People flipped between Spanish and English freely and we were offered plenty of coffee refills. Reminds me of how I feel America should be. Thanks for the great service, guys!

I'm not entirely sure if maybe the hostess and the waitress were just having a bad day but for the amount of money this place was asking can you please act like your happy that I've decided to spend my money and time here, instead i get bad service ...so much so that I felt uncomfortable just being there.

Used to really enjoy it, but every time we end up here, I remember why we never come. Vastly overpriced. Staff more and more rude and can't be bothered to serve even when the place is empty. Not worth the stomach ache you end up with later.Try literally anywhere else.

We stopped here on our way to Socal on an early Saturday morning. It wasn't too busy and the server came and greeted us immediately. We had the pancake special that was only 8.99 and it was so delicious. Our food came out quick, hot, and fresh. I wasn't too full for discomfort but also so satisfied and energized enough to continue our journey. Their coffee was also really good without creamer which is rare for me. If you're driving through or road tripping, definitely stop here for a nice, quick yet tasty breakfastz

Great service, and great food. My family and I enjoy having breakfast at Cafe 101. The employees there make you feel right at home.

After arriving to our hotel in the area while traveling through we checked out the restaurants in the area and seeing what sounded good. After a long day of driving we checked out Cafe 101 and saw "grandma's meatloaf" on the menu and honed in on that. Well if your grandma was the key person who worked for Swansons TV dinners this would be your meatloaf. Very disappointed as the mashed potatoes, gravy and corn were cold and the meatloaf was definitely some processed meatloaf that even Mrs Swanson would be ashamed of. Not homemade at all!!! my husband had the chicken fried steak and said the same thing. Too high priced for what you get and not good at all!! So sad and waste of money.

I enjoy coming here since me and my grandpa love the food. The staff here are really nice and has fast service. The inside looks like it's from the 90's but it's a nice vibe. Super clean to so I definitely recommend coming here

Food was not good pancakes were horrible food was not good at
Good food and service. A better option than denny's/mcdonalds/starbucks to have a breakfast when driving between the bay area and LA. Food is reasonably cheap and comes in good portions. The only issue is that a fee is added to card payments.

This restaurant has very nice courteous waitresses who always have a smile on their face. It's nice to see that they enjoy their job. That's not something you see very often. Thank you cafe 101 Coalinga

Decent food, but blan and the prices were a bit high for quality. I had the tri tip sandwich and fries.
