“Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. Stopped here on the way up to the national park. Will Recommend to all my outdoor friends who come out this way. Tried the old boy blue burger, and bacon avocado burger 10/10. As my wife put it the ranch was so good you almost want to drink it.”

“Small place but Big on taste [Coalinga CA]If you think Coalinga is all about Harris Ranch you should drive further in to town and try the food at Taqueria Gonzalez. Indoor dining room was a modest size but they have outdoor seating as well. The restaurant is counter-service so we placed our order with the friendly (and patient) young gal as we browsed through the wall menu quickly. We chose an Asada Burrito and Asada Fries. We found an open table and before we could say "birria" our order was being served to us. The burrito was a generous size so the hubby and I split it. The radish, jalapeño, fried onions and hot sauce were served on the side. For drinks I got my favorite, the Jamaica, and hubby chose the horchata. We also shared the asada fries. French fries loaded with beans, roast beef, mozzarella cheese, pico de gallo and topped with a jalapeño. That was enough to get me full. When we think of Coalinga we think of Harris Ranch steak and cattle farm... and you'll know when you hit Coalinga by the smell. We did not go for a ribeye steak this time but we still had some kind of meat in the form of a steak burrito and steak fries ("asada" is beef) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Review #3219”

“We were starving after spending the whole day prospecting at the Benitoite Mining Company. The team recommended that we have dinner at the renowned Harris Ranch Resort. Our first visit to this Country Store shopping, Ranch Bakery, Steakhouse lobby bar resort was no disappointment. The Ranch Resort is conveniently located near the 5 highway between Bakersfield and Fresno, California. The dinning recommendation was absolutely fantastic. We chose the Horseshoe Lounge for dinner because we noticed all the high-quality whisky and bourbon on display at the bar. The moment we entered this lounge, it felt like we were transported to a country and western bar straight out of the 1850s. At the Horseshoe Lounge, you'll find a fully stocked bar and a diverse steakhouse menu. In the specified sequence, we had Woodford Reserve Bourbon Kentucky Whisky, Margaritas, Traditional Spinach Salad with Parmesan Peppercorn Dressing, crumbled bacon, chopped egg, mushrooms, and Parmesan Cheese. Shepherd's Pie featuring a delicious blend of ground beef, veggies, and garlic mashed potatoes, all topped with melted cheddar. A 14oz portion of Prime Ribeye Steak. A ribeye steak of prime grade, boasting rich flavor and abundant marbling.Parking: The resort is attached to a truck stop on highway 5. We saw at least 200 parking spots in the front. More parking spaces were available in the back of the resort as well.”

“Found this spot after gem mining. I was hectic about it at first because it looks like a beat up place from the outside. When walking in, all you see is old tables and chairs, the cartons of the sodas, and big fans. When ordering is like you are ordering from those taco stands in the streets.Don't be fooled about what I just wrote because what matters is how good the tacos were. I tried the carne asada, cabeza, lengua, and tripas, and to me they were sooo good. They had flavor and the tacos were full of meat. I normally eat 4 tacos. So I ordered 4 and was only able to eat 2 because how big they were. This is my go to place when traveling on the I-5, since it's only a 10 mile detour from the highway. Plus they are open for 24 hours every day.”

“We stopped here on our way to Socal on an early Saturday morning. It wasn't too busy and the server came and greeted us immediately. We had the pancake special that was only 8.99 and it was so delicious. Our food came out quick, hot, and fresh. I wasn't too full for discomfort but also so satisfied and energized enough to continue our journey. Their coffee was also really good without creamer which is rare for me. If you're driving through or road tripping, definitely stop here for a nice, quick yet tasty breakfastz”

“I've been there twice now on Thursday. It's my impression they only offer bbq on Thursday. Their tri tip sandwich is very tasty. It's prepared on a white bun with mayo tomato and lettuce. Comes with fries. I always get ranch and their ranch is good with fries. They work fast and are kind and polite. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I've eaten outside on nice days. Totally recommend.”
