Exceptional customer service. The staff was warm and attentive, and it was just a delightful experience even as we approached closing hours. Will definitely make this a consistent stop whenever I pass through.
Funky design like it used to be a Mexican restaurant. Cold AC was great. Friendly staff and a nice place to stop in the middle of nowhere.
Loved the spot but wow, the smell of 75,000 some cows near by is something. Still, the place was clean, the staff was on point and it made for a nice pause on a run between San Fran and LA.

Starbucks Coffee Company can be pretty busy and has a huge seating area. It is located off the 5 in Coalinga, Ca., and has taken over some former restaurant at the highway 5 Coalinga exit. This is one of the better Starbucks, described as the biggest and coolest one, with big Spanish style windows and a clean women's bathroom with four or five stalls. The place is very spacious and relaxing inside. All the workers are very kind and patient with people ordering, providing great service and pleasant staff. The coffee is great, and the usual good Starbucks fare is available. It is pricy but the quality is there. Some customers love the teas and chai. One customer had a negative experience with a skinny Vanilla Latte no foam, where the Vente cup was not filled to the top and the barista gave attitude when asked to fill it. Overall, it is always appreciated while on a road trip and has saved many travelers.
