“100% 🔥 10 out of 10!!!! Quesabirria- Cilantro y Cebolla was excellent! A true Hidden Gem just 15 minutes from the 5/highway. Well worth the trip into coalinga! Delicious to the very last drop. Amazing and so flavorful. Recommend, recommend, recommend!!!“

“There's a rule that the small, local Mexican restaurants are usually the best. This one is definitely a good one. The asada is particularly full of delicious flavor. The carnitas was nothing special, but it was still good. The beans and rice with the combination plate are decent enough. The yellow corn tortillas are pretty good, and make nice little tacos. I have had better tortillas, especially since they're supposed to be house made, but I have also had much worse. These tortillas were better than average. We will likely order from them again, especially their asada. You have to try their asada. They don't speak much English, but they got our order right even though our Spanish is limited.“

“This place is our MUST STOP on our drive from No Cal to So Cal. Best burritos ever. I always call ahead and they have great service when I do.“

“This was possibly the best burrito I’ve ever had and I’m not exaggerating.
Driving through Coalinga…I was in the mood for some Mexican food, and found this place. First thing I noticed when I walked in was they had all of these freshly prepared ingredients in front, and loads of meat options. Everything smelled awesome and looked delicious.
I got the wet burrito with chile verde and it was massive. Maybe twice the size of a chipotle burrito, for basically the same price. The ingredients all tasted extremely fresh, and it was loaded with meat. Devoured this thing in my car, and bookmarked it immediately after so I know to stop here again the next time I drive through.“

“This was my husband’s favorite .“
“I absolutely LOVE the food here, I don’t go anywhere else for my wet burritos, my girls love getting the asada fries and if you’re SUPER hungry you’ll definitely be satisfied with either of these two options. The workers are really nice and will converse if they’re not super busy. They’re pretty quick too :) I haven’t tried anything else because I’m always satisfied with my usual order ;) but I’m sure it’s all just as delicious <3“

“Food was really good and fresh. I got the roasted veggies and frankly thought they tasted better and fresher than the fajita veggies I usually get at Chipotle. The lady who took my order was very nice and friendly. She took my order quickly and made everything quickly as well. Not a ding on Baja Fresh itself, but the bathrooms and atmosphere here aren't amazing. They're decently clean, but it does feel a bit depressing (though of course this is at a rest stop). I thought the price was reasonable (got a burrito, bowl, and chips/guac for $30). The burrito was filled very generously, and there's a salsa bar where you can get as much salsa as you'd like.“

“Massive burrito that tasted amazing from a taco truck next to a freeway. I was a bit short on cash, but he made a burrito for me anyway. How cool is that?! Totally gave me the energy to finish the last leg of my very, very long multiple day drive.“
