“Soooo Good sooo Bomb! If you wanna feel like your grandma just made you some Puppusas or like ur mom just made you some gorditas and you are in town this is the place. It's hard to find good Salvadoran food. Ohhh and let's not forget the platanos sooo good! The staff is friendly and the food comes out in a timely manner. If you are on lunch call your order in and they will have it ready“
“Very clean place inside & outside, well arranged where they serve you a variety of dishes. I stopped here for the pupusas which is my favorite Salvadorian dish. The people tending the place were amicable & welcoming and had a very positive vibe to them. I ordered a pair of pupusas along with two Pacifico beers and it was very satisfying after a long day of driving. Mendota California rules! USAVegetarian options: Loroco pupusas“
“Best Food I’ve had from Mendota, it was so good that after I got done I had to give them a review for doing a great job, I am daily customer now& greatly recommend this restaurant to family, friends& those looking for a quick bite! They do make your food from scratch so don’t expect it to be like a fast food joint very worthy!“
“Absolutely loved this place! Came here for the first time, service was excellent! They're very respectful and professional, made sure we were satisfied! The food was terrific! Had the fajita plate, the beef and chicken were tender and moist, the shrimp was cooked to perfection, the seasonings were perfect! There was so much flavor! The vegetables were tender, and not overcooked! And the atmosphere was phenomenal as well! I don't have anything negative to say! Overall a very wonderful experience! The cook even came out and talked to us about the food!“
“I ordered a plate that was makeshift vegan. It was a plate of rice, beans, and veggies. I don't think they normally do any "vegan" dishes, but they were flexible and made exactly what I wanted. And you know what, it was delicious. They also made the small mistake of giving me pinto beans instead of black beans, but I did not mind, since I like them both.Vegetarian options: As I mentioned in my review. I got a plate with 3 sides - rice, beans, and mixed veggies. They gave me pinto, but they have black beans as well.“
“I'm only ever out here for work. Heard this place had the best food in small town Tranquility. I had a lighter day and decided to stop by for breakfast. I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito. That burrito was massive!!! Enough for 2 to share perhaps. The potatoes inside were crunchy on the outside but nice and fluffy on the inside. It was bursting with flavor, you didn't the need salsa on the side. I did hear that there may be a wait on the food since they do get busy and there aren't many options for food nearby. My burrito took approximately 5-10 minutes to prepare. It was initially too hot to hold. I will definitely return and try out other menu items.“
“The Firebaugh Restaurant has delicious food. Although it’s a drive for my wife and I, it’s well worth it to meet up with our friends and enjoy a nice family dinner together. What made our meal even better was our waitress Jordan, she can brighten up the room with her smile, she provides fast and friendly service.“
“Really good down-home Mexican food: Stopped in for a late breakfast and the machaca con huevos was exactly what we wanted ... It came with soft homemade corn tortillas, potatoes and excellent refried beans -- my guess is they're homemade, too. Had a pancake on the side that was delicious. Big mug of good coffee and a friendly waitress who made us feel welcome. The building is old but the owners have painted the interior in classic colors and dressed up the (very clean) restrooms with decorative vases“
