“THE FOOD WAS PRETTY GOOD & THE SERVICE WAS PRETTY FAST. THE ONLY THING I COULD COMPLAIN ABOUT WAS THEIR PRICES WERE PRETTY STEEP. BUT OTHER THAN THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS TO TRY IT.”
“Beautiful location, friendly staff, great wine! Thanks to their partnership with Harvest Hosts, we were able to enjoy a wine tasting, an evening on the porch by the fountain, then stumble our way home (i.e. to the driveway/parkinglot). It is obvious that the family and staff at Cardella care a great deal for their grounds, their buildings, and their product! We are looking forward t comparing their Zinfandel's since only one was available for tasting that day! A great afternoon was had, and I could not recommend this location any more!”
“Pupusas are always on point. They may take a while to come out, but only because they are made fresh to order. It is out door dinning only and they do not serve alcohol. However there agua frescas are delicious.”

“It is just a perfect example of a well prepared, fresh Mexican food.
Great flavor, perfect amount of spice.
The Carne asada was perfect. Not piece of chewy.
Personally, they are small (street size) for $3.
I would gladly pay $5 to $7 for a full-size taco.
The salsa was not spicy (I have a very high spice tolerance), but they did have Fresh Grilled Jalapeños available.
The menu is simple, which is appropriate for the restaurant and kitchen size.
The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
The restaurant was exceptionally clean and organized.
I will definitely return when I'm in the area.
It is also worth driving out of town for.
Parking: Street parking and a parking lot on the side of the building”

“Very clean place inside & outside, well arranged where they serve you a variety of dishes. I stopped here for the pupusas which is my favorite Salvadorian dish. The people tending the place were amicable & welcoming and had a very positive vibe to them. I ordered a pair of pupusas along with two Pacifico beers and it was very satisfying after a long day of driving. Mendota California rules! USA
Vegetarian options: Loroco pupusas”
“Great food, wish that the place was open during the day. I order pupusas and they are okay. I miss the old cook who did not put too much salt and the food was not as oily. They call you when your order is ready and they take ten minutes.”

“From the minute I walked in, my visit was very easy and a pleasant experience. I was told it would be 13 minutes and when I went back to “wait” it was done. The pizza was so delicious. The bread sticks were awesome! I’ll be back soon”

“Food is very good. I prefer the "tipico" Salvadorian breakfast and their pupusas are good. They have good "Choco-banano" and Salvadorian snacks...”
“It's a Subway, and it functions like one. As a fast food chain, it's overpriced, and the food isn't amazing, but it's decent. The only shortcoming I can think of is the lack of meat options compared to other Subway locations.”

“I simply enjoyed their dishes. I always get awesome service there. The place is clean and the employees are always super friendly. I highly recommend this place.”
“I come to Mendota for work a few times a month and this coffee shop has been recommended to me over and over. I finally went in and gave it a try. I should have tried it sooner. The employees are friendly, they have so many menu options and it would be a great place to come back to and do work. Their sizes are generous and prices are reasonable.”
“The best small town donut shop!! A wide variety to pick your favorite donut or try a delicious jalapeno and ham and cheese croissant!! You can grab a cup of coffee also and the service is amazing!!!”

“The food is good and tastes good. This was my second time there, and this time, the food was not visually appealing. It seemed to me like the tacos were made just to get them done, and no effort was made to make them visually appealing.”
