First time here. My friend recommended this place. I liked their country like decor.They give you a complimentary roll of bread, which was good. If you want more, they'll give you 4 rolls with their fluffy butter for $2.99. I tried the 24 oz cowboy ribeye steak cooked medium rare and the beef liver and onions. I loved the steak. The latter was okay. The liver was a bit strong in taste. More onions would've helped by masking the taste a bit. The portion sizes were decent. Overall, I paid $100 for the food plus tip, and I was happy with the service. The place was busy but they get the job in a reasonable amount of time.There was plenty of parking. You can charge your EV car here if you have one. Theres also RV overnight parking.

After a long drive from San Diego, I reached the Harris Ranch Resort and immediately headed to the restaurant which was closing up as it was a few minutes before 9pm. They agreed that I could dine and treated me like I had arrived at a reasonable time. I ordered the open-faced Steak Sandwich and the sweet potato fries. It was the perfect meal. The steak was perfect. I was so glad I took the waitress's advice and went for medium rare rather than medium..." because you can always cook it more." I do wish the sandwich had a top bread and the lettuce wasn't shredded with a vinegarette, but the tomatoes were fabulous and the meal was great. Super steak! House wine was great too. I will always stop here when on the I-5 long drive!!!

Nice way to break up the drive from San Jose to LA. Good quality steak, decent prices, good service. What more can you ask for. Good kids meal selection with the usual hot dog, nuggets, etc. I love driving to LA because we get to stop here. We plan our departure times both ways so that we hit this place around lunch time.

The service is very good and I don’t like steaks or meat…and I was like, wait…that’s really good meat. And I will order the porterhouse steak again next time. Don’t get me wrong, the burger and the fried sweet potato fries are very delicious too.

We had dinner here and took advantage of their generous offer to allow RVs to park overnight. We split the ribeye steak dinner and added extra sides and had dessert. That was the perfect portion for us. The steak was really good. I would overall give this place a B+!

So sad how this place use to be a must stop traveling down I -5 . We gave it another chance on 12/12/23 This will be our last time ! We stopped at 3:30 pm Restaurant wasn't busy our server Diego only had 3 tables . Service was slow and food is now overpriced poor quality .

SATURDAY FOOD REVIEW...THE HARRIS RANCH (again)...12/9/23! Today we met up with Natalie at the Harris Ranch for dinner, and to deliver to her the portrait of her cat, Persimmon! The Harris Ranch is one of my go-to restaurants, as the food is ALWAYS superb!!! Scott and I split our dinners...I had their Choice Ribeye Steak, which comes with soup or salad (I had their clam chowder), 2 sides (broccoli and banana squash), and a baked potato, plus I added on their twin lobster tails, and Scott had their Petite Cut Prime Rib, which comes with the same sides, and for dessert, we split their Carrot Cake. This restaurant is 100% TOP NOTCH all the way!!! Everything tasted delicious, but then, it is always like that!!! I have NEVER had a bad meal here, as it is one of my favorite restaurants, and is VERY HIGHLY recommended by me!!!
While it isn't a vegetarian friendly restaurant there are some options. But the rest of the menu looks amazing. The pancakes are huge and delicious. Eggs cooked perfect. Side of rosted potatoes were not my favorite but tasted good. The service is top notch and very friendly.

I went to this place with pretty high expectations. Especially after seen the prices in the menu. I decided to order the prime rib burger which is priced at $39 I asked for it Medium and when I got the burger I was extremely disappointed. Not only did the bun look terrible but the party was cooked well done. It was a terrible decision to pay that price for a disappointing burger. I recommend not getting this or you'll be disappointed as well.

I was looking for a good steak and I found it. Everything I wanted was there. The rib eye was cooked exactly as ordered. The service was lacking as they seemed to be covering too much and left tables unattended for longer than normal. Everything else was good, clean and our stay at the inn was a big bonus not having to drive after such a meal.

This place is nice. The grounds are well kept, the exterior has an old world vibe, and the rooms are clean and comfortable even though a bit tired. It’s a safe spot to land. It’s even pet friendly! The restaurants are good and all the staff is helpful and friendly. I continue to highly recommend them.

We have been coming here for many years on our way up north to eat. This was the first time that we were not totally satisfied with the food! I ordered the turkey herb dinner and my husband ordered The rib eye steak. His steak was fantastic but unfortunately I cannot say the same for my dinner. The turkey basically was extremely dry even with gravy on it. To be honest with you it tasted life wet cardboard and like I said before with absolutely no taste. The rest of the meal was fantastic! The mashed potatoes vegetables and dressing were great! I did very nicely tell the waitress what the problem was with the turkey and then left it at that. No one suggested that we get compensated for it and to be honest with you I was okay with that but slightly disappointed that we weren't at least offered that option. Like I said before this is the first time we were not satisfied with the food but will continue to go back because we certainly enjoy the resort!
