This place has really gone downhill. We spot here every time we drive to LA from the Bay Area. Used to be a great meal but were very disappointed this visit.
They must be under new management or new head chef. Our server mentioned they changed the menu a few months ago, which got rid of a number of items including the portabella burger which was one of our favorites and a great choice that wasn't so heavy. But hey, menus change.
My burger which was supposed to be medium was charred on the outside and medium rare on the inside and not juicy/bloody at all. It was also just warm, not hot off the grill. We asked for no bun and got lettuce wrapped burgers, not what we wanted. The sweet potato fries were room temperature, and I heard the adjacent table complain about their fries as well so this appears to be a general problem. We were in a hurry to get back home or I would have sent the food back for a total redo. The best part of my meal was the pickle.
The fruit bowl my wife ordered was quite generous and our server Danny was very kind and understanding.
Since this is the one nice place to stop along I-5, we'll likely come back to Harris Ranch but try their other restaurant in hopes the kitchen is better staffed.

They didn't have our favorites on the menu. Was disappointed. I was looking forward to the pistachio cake and it didn't look like the picture nline.

Great stop on a miserable stretch between LA and SF. Want to come back to stay!
Had an amazing anniversary dinner at Harris Ranch Horse Lounge. The server was top-tier, attentive, funny, and knew just when to show up (or disappear). The steak bite appetizer? So good it should come with a safe word 🍍. Drinks from the bar were strong enough to make me flirt with my own wife 😅, and the desserts? Pure sinful bliss. If you walk out of there without trying one, you're doing life wrong🍰. Loosen your belt, cancel your calorie tracker, and go all in. You deserve it. 💯

Today is my birthday and as im driving south I was like let have dinner at Harris Ranch we have not stop by in about 8yrs well I more then likely will never be back. The food SUCKED there is no other way to put it. Tasted like dietary food absolutely no flavor very Bland. I threw my food away did not even ask for a box. I never asked for refunds I just never go back it's crazy how many people think this place is amazing it JUNK keep driving south next time.
Went in with high expectations and they were met. Steak was cooked to perfection, service was great. Rigo was the bar tender, very friendly and on point. Definitely stop by if you’re cruising the 5.
First all the food was highly talked about here and it was pretty good left pretty happy.
The service is atrocious, we had about 5 different servers over the course of 2 hours (more on this ). The first server we got came and took our drink orders which was a soda and a beer. We got the soda pretty fast but the beer took another 10-15 mins. When that came we asked the server for another but on draft, he then said they don’t carry that beer on draft but we showed him it was clearly on the menu. He then went to check and came back 10 mins later. (Not sure why since the bar is next to us), once we got the beer we placed our order of simple prime rib we began the waiting game. 45 mins later 3 servers came back saying that they had no prime rib and that we must choose something else . While looking over the menu very sadly and angry about 10 mins later a different server came and said they the do have prime rib and it will be out shortly . We waited another 20 mins for it to come out and we finally ate. The servers needs to be better trained on hospitality and knowledge of what the establishment has. Most of them are just standing around gossiping or on their phones . People around us got impatient as well waiting for a server or their ordered items.
Always a great stop to relax along Interstate 5. Get away from fast food and gas station stops. Harris Ranch is known for its beef so treat yourself to their restaurants, country store, and facilities.
Dinner at the Horseshoe lounge is the best. Tasty, fast service and no kids 👍. Love having a roadside dinner here on our travel days

Lunch was soooo delicious!!!! The Chuckwagon soup is a go to everytime we come here. I had the grilled flank steak with pistachio and basil pesto. Let me tell you, I can't wait to have it again. All the flavors were robust and complimented one another perfectly. I love balsamic glaze, and the chef was generous while topping my dish. The service was wonderful and quick. Our drinks were never empty either. Overall, it was a great experience.

Extremely disappointed with our meals. I'll start by saying that our server Bernie was great... the bread is great... the beer is cold. Maybe just go here for bread and beer because everything else was disappointing. The 14 oz. Prime rib was tough as leather... the carrots were undercooked big time and they managed to make mashed red potatoes lumpy and grainy, i feel like you would have to go out of your way to do that 🤣. We didn't want to complain because Bernie was so nice and we were exhausted from traveling and being in the amazing pool all day.

Service from the staff was very good, server was friendly.
Wings were very good
Tri tip sandwich was nice with a horseradish sauce. Not sure I'd have again but personal preference.
In general food was good quality
Beers are relatively cheap and service was very good.

We waited 10 minutes for a table BUT could see into the place and there were tables with no one seated. The two ladies at the front desk finally sat us at a newly cleaned table. People still waiting with open tables available, maybe get rid of one table f the ladies so they didn’t just chat to each other but too care of the customers. They may know all about beef but not about service! Time of arrival 1:15pm. The worth Blood Orange Margarita I have ever had at $16. The last table photo is another table where they left a lot of food, doesn’t speak well of the place.

My partner and I recently stopped at Harris Ranch while traveling through, and once again, we were pleasantly surprised by the professional and friendly service and good food. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Amaya at the front desk, and given a realistic assessment of wait time (which ended up being very short).
We dined in the Horseshoe Lounge and enjoyed Prime New York steak, a loaded potato, and wedge salad with chicken breast. Very good food considering our options en route :) Our server, Carlos, was superb and prompt, ensuring an extremely pleasant overall dining experience.
Overall, the consistent quality of service and food make Harris Ranch a must-visit every time we're in the area.

Tried the steak sandwich with sweet potato fries. It was good, but more steak than sandwich. Lots of food.
