Such an amazing find in Colfax. Passed it a 100 times and never made a stop until today. If you have not made the trek I would encourage you to do so only if you're looking for amazing food, service and atmosphere. I will be back soon.

Breakfast was well portions plates, with so many options. The most memorable was my Cocktail for brunch which was called a HOT TODDY. I brought so many memories of my Step Grandmother . It was a cinnamon infused Whisky, with honey and lots of lemon. I'm sure many people who stop by after hitting the ski slopes make this their go to drink. We were fortunate to meat the manager and was given the history of the restaurant. I'm told that Halloween is a special time to go and enjoy the ambiance. We were there while the crowd was on their lunch break. Food got to us quick and efficiently. I'm glad I finally stopped by.

The ambience was excellent. We really enjoy it. There was three of us. We were sat very quickly, and our drink orders were taken care of quickly. It seemed like forever before they took our order, which gave us plenty of time to look over the extensive menu. I went with the bacon wrapped meatloaf that has a disclaimer that it contains pork. That's funny. One in my party had a breakfast plate. Took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive which is fine because you don't want your food at a restaurant too quickly, it means that it was pre-prepared The food was excellent and another person in my party. Really enjoyed our bacon wrapped meatloaf sandwiches. Would definitely go again, but maybe avoid peak lunchtime

The split pea and ham soup had a lot of pepper which gave it a kick and was pretty good. The caramel bread pudding was soft and warm and very enjoyable to eat but would have been great with vanilla ice cream. The steak was tough and i was only able to eat less than half of it.

Great service, we loved our waitress! It is not very common that you get great customer services days, and she met above and beyond. The food is fantastic if you are a meat eater and the atmosphere is very casual.
This was the best meal I had in my meal to california. They sat us immediately and all the food was incredible!! The owner personally served us and I was surprised at how kind, personable and professional his whole staff was. The ambiance was wonderful. Check it out if you are in the area :)

Waited for about 30 minutes before they checked on me, after I had been seated and gave my order, to be told that they had overlooked my order and were about to start it. The waitress was kind but I opted to leave as I was short on time.
