I had seen positive reviews about House of Bagels so I had high expectations. They were met with my turkey bagel sandwich. Bagel was perfect but the produce was so fresh. Highly recommend.

Even though we now live far away, we still talk about the toasted bagel sandwiches from this place because they were always just perfect. We liked too many different combinations of bagel & scmear to nail down one, but they sorta exceled at any. Great Egg in a Bagels too.

I've heard mention that the elusive "good bagel" can be procured in San Francisco but I am almost always disappointed. When the House of Bagels on Geary stopped being fantastic I was forced to embark on a quest for a reliable source of "good bagels". I sampled bagels at numerous locations around the city.
