I absolutely love the food at this location—so much so that I drive all the way from Vallejo just to eat here, even though there’s a closer spot in Benicia. While the Benicia location is also great, it tends to be crowded with long lines and tight seating. The Concord location, on the other hand, offers a more relaxed atmosphere, beautiful decor, and elegant silverware. And of course, the food is consistently delicious. They also have excellent vegetarian options—I highly recommend the lemongrass tofu paired with a refreshing lavender lemonade!
My daughter took me for my birthday, our waiter was so wonderful and brought over the Birthday Wheel, I spun the wheel and got 5% off the bill! It wouldn’t of mattered if I’ve gotten nothing off my bill, this is where I wanna eat on my birthday. It’s so good!
We came in around 3pm on a Monday and were the only customers at the restaurant, so our food and drink came out quickly.
I got the Honey Mint Soda, which was very refreshing and delicious, and paired very well with the Coconut Chicken Noodle Soup and the Burmese style Biryani we ordered, which were both very flavorful and rich. The price point is also very reasonable for the generous portions.
Quiet and elegant even at lunchtime. We had samosas, lotus chips, chicken biryani, and maylika swai, and all the food was great. Especially would recommend the fish, which was perfectly cooked and well balanced with its sauce.
Tea leaf salad and spicy noodles were delicious.
Spicy noodles with shrimp was amazing. I got it “mild,” and it still had a good amount of spiciness that made it outstanding. Fresh, genuine noodle dish and excellent seafood.

(I may have reviewed this restaurant positively several years ago. If this is a duplicate, consider it an update.) We were introduced to Burmese food by the restaurant in Dublin, and fell in love with the Tea Leaf Salad. Not long after, Aung Burma opened here in Concord, and to our delight, found this restaurant is every bit as good - without the drive to the neighboring county. We've been eating there and ordering takeout from them regularly, and they have continued to be excellent. Table service is calm and prompt. The cuisine is exotic, savory, complex, and textural. If you haven't eaten Burmese food, make a point of going to Aung Burma. It will become one of your favorites. My family and friends from New York city always make a point of going to Aung Burma when they come to visit us, since they have no Burmese restaurants there. Concord, we're lucky to have Aung Burma.

Palata tasted very good. Had ordered spicy noodles and coconut soup. Not sure if it’s a good place for vegetarians. I started eating spicy noodles and noticed it had egg. Immediately I asked them to not add egg to the soup. Unfortunately, inspite of asking for vegetarian and no egg, soup came with egg.

I had a great experience at Aung Burma! The food was incredible, really authentic flavors and every dish was packed with freshness and the perfect amount of spice. The service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and made us feel right at home. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to, highly recommend it if you’re in the mood for something delicious and different!

Ok, ok. Way to surprise and deliver! Super low key, but the food, flavors, speed, authenticity, price and service were all 150%! Will definitely be back and come with more diners. We’ve loved Burma Superstar for years, Burma 2 in WC, but Aung Burma really surprised us in all the next ways!
