This is my neighborhood spot for breakfast. It has a cozy welcoming feel and the service is great. Staff is very friendly, and, if you drink coffee, they make sure the cup is never empty. They have a varied breakfast menu with egg dishes, pancakes, and waffles. My favorite is the Chicken Fried Steak. It is a healthy portion with a savory, creamy gravy. I order my eggs over easy and they come just I would expect: with a thick, runny, yolk. I definitely recommend for breakfast.

Really good. Portion sizes are huge and food is perfectly seasoned. Not too salty, not too bland. I haven’t had good gravy in a long time, so I had to write a review. It’s tucked away in a small corner of the menu, but if you ask they’d be more than happy to serve it to you.

Nice little cafe where I enjoyed breakfast. I had an omelette which was very good - cooked just right. Hash browns were excellent- little crispy -just perfect. The coffee did seem to cool off pretty quick which I read in another review - but still good. Service was great - friendly atmosphere.

The food was decent, nothing special. The service, while well-intentioned, left a lot to be desired….we tried multiple times to get a waiter’s attention, and though we were acknowledged, no one actually followed through to help. This happened with more than one staff member. The place also lacked ambiance. Should’ve stuck with Sugar Plum instead of trying something new. Good job cooking staff though.
Also tried to coordinate a birthday waffle or something for the birthday boy, no follow through on that, wasn’t gonna ask again in front of him…so we went without it.
