Very good space! Beard Papa is one of its kind dessert place. Got the Chocolate and churro eclairs one with Vanilla and Chocolate filling. The fillings tasted really good, however the outer crust was not tender or didn’t feel like freshly made. Staff and ambiance were pretty good. No restrooms for customers, it’s exclusively for their own employees. Weird!

Super quick service! Crunchy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. Not too sweet. The pastry felt a little stale but it is to be expected as I went in the late afternoon.

No vegan filling options, I think? I'll never know because when I called, the serviceperson said, "I don't think so??" And wouldn't check. ??♀️

Decided we wanted to indulge in a little sweet treat on this rainy Sunday afternoon. We ended up getting Beard Papa delivered via DoorDash. Included pics of the variety pack we created.
The packaging was super cute. You can tell they take extra care when packing up for delivery. I really appreciated that.
Very fresh. Everything we had was delish! My wife has tried them in a few different cities and always has the best things to say. She wasn’t wrong!
I got the Oreo, Chocolate and original. We also ordered one of the cheesecake bites as well. No matter what you order - you won’t be sorry.
Thank You for exceeding my expectation! Wishing you and your business all the best !! We will absolutely be ordering from you again :)

OMG! This dessert is sinful! I’ve never had a cream puff like it. My daughter and I happen to be having a daughter day and came across Beard Papas in Concord. My daughter and I each got one cream puff. My only disappointment was, I only got one. Will definitely be back - I highly recommend the Ube shell with Ube filling.Their Bakery is quaint and myself, and my daughter really enjoyed the music.

We ordered a dozen of these creme puffs to go, 1/2 went to my niece and half came to me. I had two plain powdered sugar with chocolate filling, two Oreo Cookies n’ Cream Shell with chocolate filling, and two Ube Shell with Ube filling. I liked all of the flavors we ordered except the Ube did not taste like Ube to me, just my opinion. And I recommend you eat these right away. Don’t keep linger than a day. They’ll get soggy. And these are not overly sweet. So this was a quick and easy order. Fast and friendly. The size of the creme puff were pretty good size, like the size of a muffin. I was surprised. The prize is around $3.90 to $4.20 depending on the flavor. So not too bad.The place is really cute. It’s not huge though. So not really a place to hang out for long.

Omg let me just say I hate that I know about this place now because I'm in love!!! I just can't believe how gorgeous all these deserts look when you walk in the door you are instantly greeted with all the employees and then all these wonderful mouth watering fresh lovely yummy appitizing puff balls!!! Yum yum!!! It's so hard to pick just six!!! Hahaha!! I had such a hard time choosing what ones to get and then what fillings to get with what combos of shells!! Every single item on the menu I've gotten is so absolutely delicious!! The chocolate and vinella fillings are the ones I got with smores strawberry churro cookies and cream cinnamon dolce and then also the honey one omg there has yet to be one that wasn't a jaw dropper!!
they dont heat up their desserts and the cream puffs and other desserts are nearly ice cold.
The worst dessert I’ve ever had. Vanilla cream another story and customer service is poor not even smiling at the customer
I've tried 5 different creampuffs now and I am sorry to say they've all been mediocre desserts. The concept is fun: Choose your shell + filling + topping and the staff assembles your selection. The filling is the best part in my opinion, but even that doesn't taste particularly fresh or special. The employee working at the time even warned me from the purple filling (some kind of dragon fruit or taro). How can you expect strangers to enjoy your food when your own employees know it's bad :(The blandest part is definitely the shell. It doesn't matter if you cover it with matcha or chocolate, the creampuff shell always the worst. It's not even particularly dry or poorly baked it just doesn't taste very good. For a bakery that specializes in one thing, you would hope that thing would be good.Concord has so many good bakeries. 85°C Degrees just opened up and Alpine Bakery is a local treasure. Both have better tasting baked desserts. There's just no reason to come back here when these better options exist. I feel a little bad posting this because you can tell they're trying but the product just isn't very good. I hope they figure it out.
