Our chef, Omar was great very entertaining. The prices are outrageous now, same amount of food but price has doubled. We had three kids under 8 and for chicken strips was $25.00 and it didn't come with anything else? No fries or rice. We had 10 people and the table was very crowded. It was our daughter's birthday and all she got for dessert was a bowl of whipped cream no ice cream. 😳

Haven't been in a while. We visited for my birthday and it was fine. I forget how noisy it can be with all the people and birthday celebrations. The waitress was attentive and our chef was entertaining. The food overall was good, but I think he forgot salt and pepper on the vegetables and the filet mignon. We got our photo and it was very blurry and distorted. We had already waited awhile to settle our check, so we didn't ask for a retake.

It was 2 hours from when we were seated until we left, and the first 45 min we just kind of sat there while two different servers took drink orders and asked about allergies. Not efficiently staffed or run. The bathrooms were dark. The last time we went, we waited over an hour for a table even though we had reservations. For $150 for 2, there are many nicer and more efficient places we can dine.

Well, first we were seated at the back with servers doors opening and closing. Were moved to another table, the server wasn't attentive, didn't provide appetizers, the guy named German name tag was slanted and hanging off his shirt, he was wearing a mask and a bandaid on his finger. Appeared to be mean. Our first impression, he started to repeat our order and we told him we hadn't received our appetizers, soup and salad. He went to get the person that brought us water. He later came back to bring the soup. German started preparing the food. He missed my plate with shrimp a couple of times. I asked do you expect me to eat this off of the table? I was informed there was no calamari after he began to prepare my dish and I said I'd like to see the menu, the other guy came and said we can substitute and provide more shrimp. I agreed. The service was extremely POOR. Siri g our dining we were laughing and applauding the chef at the other tables for providing the experience we usually get when we dine at Benihana. This was a horrible experience while we came to celebrate. I will also post my experience on social media and yelp. Such a disappointment while spending $205 for our bill!!! This was not ok.

Our overall experience at Benihana was genuinely positive and memorable, largely because of the professionalism and grace shown by the staff. Unfortunately, we were seated with another couple who immediately expressed visible discomfort about sitting with a mixed family. Their behavior escalated further when our chef arrived (who was African-American), and it became clear their reactions were rooted in prejudice. Despite this deeply uncomfortable situation, both our chef and server demonstrated remarkable integrity, composure, and kindness throughout the entire meal. They handled inappropriate comments with calm professionalism and continued to deliver exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure every guest—regardless of attitude—received exactly what they requested. Their focus remained on creating a great dining experience, and it showed. The couple ultimately chose to leave shortly after the food was prepared. Their loss. We stayed, enjoyed a delicious meal, and appreciated the care, skill, and warmth shown to us. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the staff turned what could have been a negative experience into a reminder of why great hospitality matters. We are grateful to the Benihana team for upholding their values and making us feel welcome. We would happily return.

Had to wait over an hour for our 7:00 reservation. Other people at our table had a 6:15 reservation. Manager has no respect for our time or experience. They offered a free appetizer for our wait and then they tried to charge us for them. Very expensive and no where close to levels it used to be. Spending that much money I expected more. Tables and chairs were beat up. It was busy but I don't know why. We will not be going back.

We were sat 45 minutes late for our reservation, service continued to be poor throughout the 2+ hours it took to finish dinner. No apology for the massive delays, no apology for the poor service, not so much as a comped appetizer or ice cream. I would have abandoned the reservation given the crowds out the door, but we were there to celebrate my son's birthday and had people visiting from out of town. Genuinely a very poor experience.

I didn't find that the experience was worth the price point for the food we received. Our chef was not very enthusiastic and I was disappointed. You go to Benihana‘s for an experience however we were certainly let down and probably would not return .
Nice dinner celebrating my sisters birthday. Chef German did a great job of seasoning and cooking the food! Our party enjoyed everything we ordered. Definitely will go back!

It'd been years and years since, if at all, any of our party had been to Benihana and we were all very impressed with the entire experience. Yes, I did call Benihana an experience... Our fairly large party are in agreement that this experience must be had again, and often! From securing reservation, to the welcome received on arrival, the seating, the service, the food preparation, the meals themselves, the celebration of our event... For this group it was a magical evening of food, fun and community! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I had a good experience dinning with my daughter. However I had birthday emails. One for $50 off and another for $30 off and neither one was expected. I was told to call customer service for a refund as it was happening to a lot of other customers. Also it too until after the foot was prepared and on our plates before I receive the 2 waters with lemon and tea requested.
