The cook did not seem engaged in the experience, which was disappointing, especially since we were celebrating my son's 13th birthday. He appeared as though he did not want to be at work. In addition, the waiter took blurry photos, and the staff member at the front desk was rather rude. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.
730pm reservations. Sat down at 830. Started eating at 915pm. Not servers fault but management of clients and reservations.
Had a lunchtime reservation. Walked in and was not immediately greeted. The bar tender acknowledged us after about 3 minutes. Told us someone would be right with us. The restaurant was empty. The lunch crowd had not arrived. After an additional 10 minutes, a server, and not a hostess, came and tried to assist us by searching for our reservation in the computer. We did not sit at a chef's table. Our server came and took our order, and based on our order, asked what kind of ice cream we would like when we finished our meals. When the orders finally arrived, we could tell they must have sat under a heat lamp, because the only thing hot was the plate itself. We had to remind the server to bring the dipping sauce. We ate our meal, and when the server came to check on us, we requested a refill of water and of our sodas. She never came back. The next time we saw her was when she gave us the check. We mentioned that we get ice cream and she said, “I don't think it comes with your meal.” I reminded her that she asked us what kind of ice cream we wanted when she took our food order, and that our 6 course meal includes ice cream. I have visited Benihana many times, and this has been the worst experience so far. Not only are the prices outrageous, but the customer service and over-all vibe was less than stellar. Shame on you Benihana.
We had a 7:30 reservation and didn't get seated until past 8. The lobby was chaotic and the host seemed annoyed to be there. We went to the bar to wait and it took 15 minutes for anyone to attend to us. Once we finally got seated, everything else went well. Our server and chef were pleasant and attentive and the food was good.
Good experience. God was good but far from great. Beers were way over priced. When I say over priced, I mean you can get a craft beer at a brewery for under $10. Example; Their beer was $18 a bottle a Sapporo. You can literally get a 12 pack of Sapporo for under $15 just about anywhere. They price gouged. Overall experience, dinner for 2 came to $260. You can get a whole lot more and better food elsewhere.
Omar was great! The food and drinks were also very good

The place:
Chipped chairs,tables,paints.
Has the vibe of being an old place needing to be refurbished. It is just a tad better the golden coral nearby. Has a dark ambiance, claustrophobic, closed off sections everywhere giving off tight space vibe.
The food:
Will not pay 30 dollars or 50 dollars for those 5-6 course meal ever again. I got the trio Yakisoba.
I wish I took a picture. You can try to go there and you will know what I meant.
The salad in a saucer is small and blah. The soup was a broth with minimal onion string and has a thinly sliced mushroom..maybe 3 pcs.
The main course is a noodle with few pcs of cocktail shrimp, chicken breast and beef. Literally counted 5 pcs of beef cubes, 5 pcs of chi hen breast cubes and 3-4 pcs of shrimp. The noodles is something that you can cook at home if you buy a yakisoba flavored noodles from the grocery.
The presentation was unappetizing galore.
The waitress was already giving us the check when we asked for the rest of the course and then she remembered to give us the ice cream but still did not give us the complete course. But it is okay. At that point, I lost interest.
The service:
Do not go on a busy holiday night. I do not entirely blame the waitress. The waitress was actually nice, overworked. After we were seated, tye waitresses that passed by does not want to look at us in the eyes. Hahaha. So we waited to be approached and after 30 minutes of waiting..I hailed one of the waitress who happen to accidentally come near our table. I asked if we can order and we were told that the assign waitress for us is on her break. So we said, okay we will wait. But at that point, I was about to go to the front desk when she came back and told us that she will just pick us up since she cannot find the waitress for us.
Weird night, weird food preparation. And this is not my first time at Benihana. I thought it will be better but I guess, it is still lacking from all aspects.

They had a great discount for Veterans Day. I made a reservation for 6pm for a party of 3. We were told that it would be a 30 to 40 minute wait as they were behind. We didn't get seated until after 7pm and then waited about 20 minutes for our order to be taken and then a another 20 till we had our soup. After that we had to wait for our Chef. We were very hingry

I really wish I could rate this higher. My family and I were very excited to go into the restaurant and have a nice experience however, the grill master seem to be rather disinterested in cooking for us and we didn't get a whole lot of the extra frills that you normally would at a Benihana experience. The food was OK....a bit bland but the sauces help. We got exactly what we ordered however, I did feel like since my grandmother preferenced that she didn't want certain vegetables that should've been adhered to. The chef still gave them to her so she had to pick out her food which made her experience a little more frustrating.
There was also a billing issue with the other party which made departure difficult since we had to work that out.
If I go back to a dining experience like this, I won't be going to the Concord location.

The food was good but the grill master was the best part. They were understaffed yet the staff available could not have been nicer. I will return when it is less busy than Veteran's Day. I appreciate them honoring Vets and will share their generosity with others so we can all support this restaurant.
