Perfect for a small family celebration of our 8yr olds birthday. Can't beat the birthday pizookie :) yum! Food tasty and everyone can order whatever they like so easy to please. Humorous waitstaff who were very kind. Will be back

Booked for Valentine's Day and they said they couldn't find my reservation. They were not super busy at that moment but they did seat me very quickly and were very happy with the service and food. If you plan to reserve, maybe don't do it on one of the busiest days of the year, they may lose your reservation like they lost mine.

First time dining service was very good friendly and very accommodating in our needs order the Wednesday special burger n fries is fresh ordered appetizers the chicken wings it's tender Lots of parking space gem in the neighborhood

Dinner at BJ Restaurant in Concord on January 1, 2025. We ordered a sirloin steak and a salmon dish for two people. The salmon dish was okay, but the sirloin steak was of poor quality, poorly cooked, and tasted bad—very disappointing. In fact, we originally came for the bison burger, but were told it was no longer on the menu. We should have just left and gone to a steakhouse instead. Very disappointed with the steak dish here.”

It was Christmas Eve, so I tried to be generous with the scores, but it took 2.5 hours for what we anticipated to be a quick meal. Service was slow despite the fact that that we arrived at 5pm and the restaurant was nearly empty. Altogether it was disappointing.The fan above us was very very noisy and COLD ( Xmas eve) the music was weird and I get not everyone want Xmas carols year long but on Xmas eve I would have take a few between regular hip hop songs. We just wanted a chill place to eat and not cook but this wasn't quite up to par.

DO NOT COME HERE
-hostess was missing so we couldn’t even sign up for the waitlist for 10 minutes
-it’s filthy! I had a piece of shrimp sitting next to me
-service was terrible! Our waiter was missing whole orders and items missing from our order multiple times. They were forgetful and their speech was slurred even the table next to us had the same experience. He took our gift card to charge our bill and it took about 20 minutes and he even had the audacity to ask if he had the right card even though we had handed it to him.

-The food was mediocre and tasteless. The steak tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time and had a FUNK to it. I

I really wanted to like this place.

So so so many things wrong with this place please retrain this guy or check in on him it’s concerning.

I like most BJs but this one is rough. Not sure where the responsibility lies (owner, management 🤷🏻‍♂️). The price of food goes up but the quality goes down. Pizza was bad. Pizookie was sad and tiny. I'll still go to BJs in other cities but skip this one.

Dined at the Pleasant Hill restaurant food was delicious, but the service was sub par. The server obviously did not like his job. We were ignored for 30 minutes , I had to flag down the hostes to take our order. He never returned to our table after the food arrived. He never brought the bill, I had to pay up at the desk with someone else. Very poor service. He needs to find another profession.

Don't know where to start. Sad because we come here a lot. I'll start off with the women's restroom smelling something awful. Counters were all wet got my shirt soaked. & I had to hold my breath the whole time I was in there. Now, our waitress, Layla (not sure about spelling) night of 11/29/24........ started off with a strong 5 star service. She was so nice and kind and easy going. Not sure if she was new because she had just a tiny trouble putting our order in. But hey. No judgment. She was still amazing. Up until I had to wait for a ranch cup that only came after my family and I were pretty much done eating. After that, we had a little confusion about the Pizookies but got through it as a team. At that point, we didn't see her for a REALLY long time. When she finally brought the Pizookies out, the ice cream was melted more than normal and the cookies had already gotten cold. Normally, the cookies are at least warm. After that, she still seemed to disappear for a good long while. When she ended up coming back, I asked for the check. She brought it. & I was totally expecting not to see her again since that seemed to be her MO. But no. This is what set us over the edge. Only after she handed us the check is when we seen her lingering around and she had the audacity to come up to our table twice within minutes. But not one of the four of us even got a drink refill because she was gone so much. So for her to walk up to us twice after giving us the check is what made me decide not to tip. & we're against not tipping. So that says a lot. We're only human. I get it. Life can be stressful sometimes. But if I'm gonna pay $100 for a meal, I'd expect different.

I’d really appreciate it if when you come in asking for a reservation and they say yes and that you will get a text when your table is ready. That when you come in asking why you didn’t get that text the hostess didn’t look at you like you were new. I walked in at 4:30 and asked for a 7 pm reservation. Walked in at 7:10 asking why no text. Not enough time to forget that I was told I’d get a text when my table was ready.

Now it’s 30 minutes past my reservation and I’m staring at a full dining room. And I watched a table my party size get sat ahead of me

We (party of 8) had lunch 11/20/24. Arrived and was seated at 11:30. Our waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable. However due to the "lack of staffing", it was an overall disaster. We don't blame, the waiter. He was slammed with customers. Our table finally got our food (about 1:10) which was definitely over priced! And paid our tabs at 2:30. It took 3 hours to get our food and eat! Not acceptable. When we approached the manager, she muttered something about people called in sick and walked away. We were not done with our conversation, but apparently she was. This is my 4th. visit there since July 2024. And that franchise has consistently been "short-staffed". I'm a BJ's Rewards Member, but the Concord location will not have my business, any longer.
