Crowded on weekends.
Several games don't work.
Soda machines stocked with all drinks is hit or miss.
Usually a wait at the prize counter and register.
Had a 4-year-old bday party here. Poorly managed facility. Chaotic from the moment we entered til the time we left. Very nerve racking event, unfortunately.
Parking: Facility overbooked parties had parties on top of parties with horrible coordination. Made it the best we could for the children!!

My review is based on a birthday party package. We came to Chuck E. Cheese tonight for my daughter's 4th Bday. I paid for an upgraded party package and I don't feel it equaled the cost. The place was so packed & crowded. Too many parties booked at the same time and back to back as well. AND what is a dedicated attendant? when they can't be your dedicated attendant because there were too many parties happening at once?
My confirmation email said to arrive 15 minutes early. It should have said arrive 15-30 minutes late! Our table wasn't set up until well after our party start time AND my guests were all standing around waiting too. It was embarrassing.
It was obvious that more employees should have been scheduled to meet the needs of all the parties plus regular customers on a busy Saturday night. This is exactly why I only gave 2 stars.
The food came without plates, the drinks came without cups. We had to get in line just to get cups and plates to drink and eat the food that came out! I have never had a party at a place like Chuck E. Cheese before, that didn't provide cups and plates for your party especially when you purchase food & drink for the adults. I mean regular paying customers get a cup and a plate for their food, why not a customer paying for an upgraded party package???
I felt so bad for the employees because it wasn't their fault at all. They provided great service and a few provided excellent service.

Our 7 yo daughter and 6 yo son love Chuck E. Cheese's. I fondly remember visiting another location as a kid, and it's a dream fulfilled to see our kids being kids and having so much fun. The pros of our recent visit are that this location seems to be recently updated--lots of light and clean from what I could see, most of the games were working and entertaining, and a kid can really run around and be a kid, along with other kids. These factors make this place almost priceless. Unfortunately, as a family with a budget, like many, the costs really add up here. I tried using the Wednesday special coupon which is posted on the website, but was told that it just wasn't working. Other experiences and reviews seem to reveal that claiming coupons don't work is in fact a company wide tactic. It's dishonest and frustrating. The cashier did give us a 20 point card, but that wasn't equivalent to the 30% off we would have gotten with the coupon. I went ahead and bought an additional 45 minutes. The game play is about $25 for 30 minutes which can really add up. I do appreciate the clear timeframe, though. Our kids respected our time limit, and still had fun. Our kids were able to free play in the newer, medium sized, obstacle course area and absolutely loved it. There were other kids for them to run around with and it was great. The area looked very padded. Another family did say that the cost is usually $13 per child to play there, though! We ate before and after visiting. So, food was not a factor. The biggest con was that the cashier seemed to be solely handling operations. Out of habit, we waited to have our safety stamps checked upon leaving. But, the cashier was busy and almost didn't notice us walking out to check out stamps, which is a major safety issue that could make all of the pros moot. Luckily, I was able to and enjoyed playing the games with our kids instead of taking Mommy relax time. All factors considered, I am giving 4 stars because for us, the pros outweigh the cons for occasional, special trips. But, the cons are important considerations for us as well.
Parking: There are a few spaces in the parking lot directly across from the entrance. There are more spaces outside and close, but not many, and they are away from sight, which could be a safety concern.

Just wish they had more help to speed up the lines but the new bounce area the kids love and the foods solid.

Had my sons birthday here, the staff were friendly and helpful but they seemed short staff or busy, we had to ask for our token cards (which took 15mins), pizza (45 mins to get) , water (i asked for as soon as we got there but didnt get until 1hour later), and for my son to do the ticket blast machine. There was one person working the register and trying to stamp people hands and at one point the power went out for a few minutes, Noone made an announcement while we stood in the dark, and once the lights came back on it was just business as usual. Then our server said she had to leave soon and basically said we need to wrap up our party, which I get, but there was so much delay for getting our stuff and now we are being rushed out...overall the kids had a great time and the staff were nice but the service was not in point today.

I paid 63$ for 1h 45m so that my son could play and when he went to the prize counter si that he could get his toys and stuff but no when they went to check out how much points he got they said he only got 0 tickets even though he got 1000 they said he got 0 because of the chip inside the card ge wasn't able to pause it or check how much tickets he got it always kept saying unable to find this card . And they wouldn't give us a full refund they converted all of the money we paid for to tickets and they gave him 500 not 1000 so that's why I give 1 star .
Fun place for kids. Pricey but a great special treat for the family.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.

This was my second time visiting this place and it is the last. The service was horrendous. Food took also 2 hours to come out. It was a Wednesday evening and the place was half empty. I think our group was the majority of people there. There was no reason for our food to be taking so long. There was only one staff member that was really nice and really trying to help. The manager was this lady and she was super rude. I just saw her standing around instead of going to help. The soda machine ran out of ice and I some drinks were out as well. Again, I know it's not their fault but when we went to tell them, it was a look like "ok". It was just a mess. Finally someone in our party went to complain and wanted a refund because it was unacceptable, again it was like "yeah and?" look. Fairfield and Pinole are a little father but I have never had an issue with them. They need new staff quick!

Did the summer of fun pass, purchased the bronze level and manage to share it with 3 kids with adult assistance, came with 40 points(game plays) per day for $49.99 & come with 20% discount on food and add ons. You can add more minutes/points for a increasingly better discount % off depending what level membership you buy. Food is decent for where you are at, sodas are unlimited with the "cup for life".
Prizes are way too many points for what they are worth but that's how they make (or save) money. Games are frequently out of service and are usually working next visit. Kids always have fun, staff is never hassling anyone or being unkind. Chuck e visit often enough that we've seen him nearly every visit.
Would return
Parking: Mini parking lot directly in front can fill up during busy times but it's in a larger shopping center so you can find a spot that's still walkable but not great for grandparents etc drop them in front and it's fine.
