The Shrimp Burrito is my go to at El Faro. Shrimp, bell peppers, onions, rice, and cheese… add some hot salsa, and everything tastes great!

The positives are my dinner was prepared very fast and the burrito was large. The negatives are the employees had scowls on their faces and were not friendly at all, the upholstered bench was very worn out and uncomfortable, and the amount I was charged did not make sense. I ordered a monument burrito that their menu says is $10.70 and a Jarrito soda which had no price posted, but should be about $3.00. Even if the soda was $4.00, the total should have been 14.70 plus tax. They charged me $18.01. Their pricing was not transparent and I fee they took liberties with what they charged me. Basically ripped me off. I will not go to this business again.

I was raised in San Francisco and used to visit El Faro frequently in the Mission Dist. There's just something about the vibe and food that tastes better at SF location than Concord. Concords location has no air conditioning so prepare to take out

The worst taqueria in Concord. The food was a huge disappointment. You’re better off going to Taco Bell or Chipotle.

One of the worst burritos I’ve had in the east bay. I got the chicken super burrito (probably my fault for getting chicken but whatever) and the chicken was BOILED??? and flavorless as hell. Not only that, it was super grisly and full of cartilage. I couldn’t find any guacamole in there too. Incredibly disappointing burrito and the cashier overcharged me too (said the total was $12 and change but my card was charged over $13). The good points: the beans and salsa were very good. But never again. Go to literally any other taqueria around.

The Chile Green Pork Burrito is always juicy. It really is. Great flavor salsa mixes great with the burrito.

Cheap and okay food, but the workers were not friendly, they looked miserable. The older male at the register was also rude. I had a takeout order and he checked if i added Tip on the reciept, when he realized I didnt, he made a face and crumbled it up. He also didnt pack any plastic utensils for my togo order. I went back to ask for a plastic fork, and he was very hesistant in giving us one and was visibly upset.

Cheap, dirty, rude vibes here.
