We had Juan and his amazing staff for our wedding in October 2025 for about 150 people! Juan was one of my favorite vendors - he was attentive, communicative, and knowledgeable. Food tasted great and we got awesome reviews from our guests - recommend tri tip, mashed potatoes, and crostini appetizer. Juan also supported a ton with get our DIY bar and dessert bar done, consulting on amounts of beverages to buy, rentals of glassware, and even giving us access to some extra supplies. Just can't say enough about how happy I was to have him as our caterer.

I cannot recommend Juan and his team at Elisa’s Catering enough! I’m still dreaming about the incredible food from our wedding. My partner and I envisioned a vegan taco bar with a shrimp option for our guests, and Juan delivered beyond our expectations. The flavors were absolutely amazing. Every taco filling was insanely delicious, and the shrimp was a total crowd-pleaser. We received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was! Beyond the amazing food, the service was impeccable. Right after our ceremony, Juan’s team brought us a plate of appetizers so we could actually enjoy the cocktail hour bites, which was such a thoughtful touch and so needed with the business of our day. Dinner was seamless and absolutely perfect. They also provided bartending services and did an amazing job with it. We were blown away by the quality of the food, the professionalism of the staff, and the care that went into making everything run smoothly. Delicious Food and Seamless Service – Perfect Farewell Brunch!
We hired Elisa’s Catering for our Farewell Brunch the day after our wedding, and they did an absolutely fantastic job! I worked with Juan, who made the entire process incredibly easy and stress-free. He provided a clear menu of options with straightforward pricing and quantities, and was always quick to respond to any questions I had.
The food was delicious—our guests especially raved about the veggie egg casserole and the French toast. Even though our venue didn’t have a kitchen, they prepared everything off-site and delivered it perfectly warm and fresh. You never would have known it hadn’t just come out of the oven!
Juan and his team handled everything, from setup to tear-down, and even packaged up the leftovers for us. It was such a relief to not have to worry about a thing that morning, and the value for the quality of service and food was excellent.

We were looking for a caterer who could create a family-style Asian-inspired menu and Elisa's Catering was one of the options stood out to us for their sample dishes on their website, customizability, and the reasonable quote. After exchanging emails and a couple phone calls with Juan to confirm our tasting menu, we had a tasting and really enjoyed everything. He has a great eye for presentation, he explained all the dishes well and took all our feedback into account. We loved the pork belly appetizer so much, we turned it into an entreé so we could enjoy more of it!
In between our tasting and the wedding day, we got in touch with their preferred event rental company to pick out our linens, dishes, utensils, etc. and Juan handled the rest of the coordination. We were able to adjust the items on our original invoice, like adding a water station, a hot water carafe for our late night DIY instant ramen bar, and having apps served down near the ceremony space instead of the bar area as originally planned to cater to a better guest experience. Juan was gracious and patient through it all. We also really appreciated that he's not out to nickel and dime you and there aren't any hidden charges with him. He's genuinely here to make sure him and his catering team can help make your event the best!
On the wedding day, everything seemed to run smoothly and all the team members we spoke to were so friendly. The staff made sure to serve me and my husband first and came back to check if we needed anything. We got so many compliments from our guests raving about the food throughout the day! People especially loved the pork belly and the ahi tuna cone appetizer. At the end of the night, we were given a couple trays of leftovers - a service that not all other caterers provided. We had some very specific requests (ie: grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters) that weren't on their website menu, but Juan went out of his way to prepare tastings for us for these items. During our tasting, Juan was incredibly receptive to our feedback. The food was amazing already, but there were slight changes we wanted to help accommodate for all of our guests (ie: gluten free). Juan never once pushed back on any of our requests. He was truly willing to do anything to tailor the menu specifically to our wedding.As our wedding got closer, we had an issue with our venue which caused us to have to split our ceremony/cocktail hour and reception between 2 different venues. This became a logistical nightmare for many aspects of our wedding, but the catering was never a concern thanks to Juan and his team. Juan split his team into 2, having some of them set up and serve at the cocktail hour area while the rest prepared the reception venue. We know it must have been chaotic dealing with the 2 venues on our wedding day, but we couldn't tell, and neither could any of our guests thanks to how well Juan and his team handled everything. Our hand passed appetizers (grilled cheese+tomato soup shooters, shrimp ceviche, teriyaki meatballs) were all tasty and memorable treats that received all kinds of compliments. Juan also worked with us on our signature cocktails, asking us only for the recipes and handling the rest on his own, and they turned out just like we wanted them to! A specific moment during our cocktail hour that stood out was when we had guests asking for shots at the bar, even though that wasn't on the menu. Juan found us to personally to ask if this was ok before he started serving the shots. Both of us really appreciated him checking with us, and it gave us even more confidence that the rest of the day would go smoothly.We also want to give a special shoutout to Aunt Joanie, who worked to ensure that both of us were getting food and drinks during our cocktail hour and reception. She brought a platter to us with all of our appetizers right after our ceremony ended, and delivered drinks to us well. When it came time for us to move to the reception venue, she told us to not worry about the cleanup and that her team would handle everything- which they did!At our reception, we had a buffet style with: flank steak w/ roasted chimichurri sauce (served at a carving station), hoisin salmon with pineapple salsa, garlic mashed potatoes, a vegetable mix, and a strawberry arugula salad. After our initial tasting, we talked a lot about how the food was by far better than anything we had eaten at previous weddings. On the day of our wedding, the food lived up to these expectations for us and our guests. Juan prides himself on his recipes, and his passion for cooking was so clear by the quality of each dish. Elisa's catering did an amazing job. Juan and his team catered my 60th birthday party and we are very pleased. The food and service was amazing. Everyone at the party talked about the food. Our menu was chicken marsala with wild mushrooms, tri-tip with chimichurri sauce, season vegetables and rice. it was delicious! The meat was tender and with so much flavor.
