I got a combo plate with basa and sole. The fish was good, fresh, a bit bland, but overall it was decent. But I didn't like that it was a bunch of small strips of fish like it had been cut up or something of that nature. I wanted whole filets or half, not fish fingers. Also, I think that it's fine you have to pay to substitute the sides, but 2.50 per side per substitution is so high. If the portions were bigger it would be worth it, but pretty high in my opinion. I got macaroni and Cheese and potato salad as my sides. I would definitely get the macaroni again. It was seasoned well and super cheesy. Potato salad is a no for me. I don't know if it's made there or store bought, but it's way too sweet for me. Great service. Didn't take long to get my food. Ample parking. Not a dine in restaurant. I would like to try other menu items.

Came here from San Francisco to see the hype and unfortunately I wasn’t too pleased. I got the two pieces dark meat with potatoes salad and Mac and cheese and the fried pickles. I was disappointed that every dish came with coleslaw and that it’s extra to change it. Nevertheless my chicken was raw and I won’t be back.

I love natural cut fries! So, I decided to come here to try them. They are good. I would like more seasoning on them but I add some salt so all good. I love rice and gravy. What I like here is that they used real rice not the rice from that instant bag. I ordered some cake. I The service is next level and it feels like you are at your auntie house. One of the staff saw the size of my cake and offered me another piece. That made my day. Because I love cake! Great place overall. Stop by give them your business!

Despite the small interior, the staff was incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. To top it off, the peach cobbler for dessert was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Highly recommend this spot for great food and excellent service!

Excellent, well spiced food. We had the white meat chicken with Mac and cheese, fried catfish with Cajun fries, and fried shrimp with Cajun fries. Everything was hot and so very, very tasty. We will be back!

Taste like yes: Everything! This is the quintessential soul food restaurant in the area! Their fried chicken and fried catfish was really delicious! After eating here my new body shape is a sphere. Be sure to order in person, for they will give you samples of their dishes. You know it's authentico when a soul food place has chicken fried gizzards for sale! Check your blood sugar before ordering their Kool aid. My god liquid diabetes but it was oh so worth it. The only only nit pick thing i can think of was that their fries were OK. If that's the only critique one can have then this place is legit!!!

The food was everything, perfectly season fresh hot food, everyone was so kind and family friendly I order 3 plates chicken, fish & spaghetti sidesMac n cheese, collards, cornbread and salad. When I tell you everything was so fresh and tasty!! While I waited for my food, they gave me a free sampler appetizer of the cheese tortellini, yams & that melted in my mouth!!The price for all was 63.00 worth every penny and more.
