The sushi was good. And the fact that it was all you can eat was even better. However the service was bad. We were sitting in the sushi bar area and when we were ordering rolls, 1 of the sushi chefs was really rude. It ruined the whole experience for us. After his rude remarks, we didn’t even wanted to order anymore and we just got out.

This is my favorite ayca sushi around. I used to drive up to their Vacaville location for it and was so happy when they opened this location in Concord.
What I think makes this experience better than the rest is the way the food is served. They have a sushi boat style belt that has small plates you can just go up and grab as well as rolls premade ready for you to take.
You have a waiter that takes care of you, they take your order for drinks, appetizers and dessert. And there is a counter you can go up to and order any specialty items you want freshly made.
Overall it's always a wonderful experience that we continue to look forward to.
Vegetarian options: Very few vegetarian dishes, a vegetarian could find options but they would be limited.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, my son loves to try new things each time he goes and the way they present the food makes it easy for him to explore new options.

Fuji sushi was the most unusual experience I've had so far here in the Bay Area. The restaurant was completely packed, but it was uncomfortable. The way they serve is really cool, and the fact that they have a conveyor belt for those who sit at the bar makes the experience even better. The bar is definitely the best place to sit. There, you'll have a chef who will always ask you how things are and if you need anything. They restock all the sushi all the time, so everything is always very fresh. The price is super fair for what it offers and the variety of food. It's totally worth it. The only thing that left something to be desired was the dessert. The fried banana needed a sauce, maybe dip it in cinnamon sugar or some Nutella to dip it in. The Gyoza was delicious. I particularly like it fried, but it also needed a sauce. The experience was an 8 and I would go back and highly recommend it.

It's highly recommended to make a reservation because of how busy it gets.
If you haven't been here before, it's a little daunting. After you're seated, you'll be greeted by your waiter, who will take your drink and appetizer order and leave a menu. You can take the menu to the front where the prep station is and ask for the rolls or sashimi, and if the food is already prepared, the chef or server will push them out to you. You can grab anything you like off of the conveyor belt and the prep station. It's all you can eat for a flat fee of $35, $36? The shimi was excellent! The sushi was also very delicious! Far better than anything I would expect from an all you can eat! My wife and I ate so much.We couldn't even think straight after.

Upon entering we were given the choice of sitting at the bar or at a table. We chose the table. A waiter will come by within 10 minutes and ask for your choice of drinks, salads, appetizers and desert order. You can order these more than once if you want. There is a separate charge for beverages and some have free refills. Many of the special rolls and nigiri sushi can be picked up at the sushi conveyer. If it's not on the conveyor you walk to an order line and place you order with the head chef. You pick up your order about 6 feet to the right at the pick up sign. We ordered the Sashimi and seared sashimi, which only took 2 minutes to get. At times the order line 6 people deep, but seemed to move quite fast. Ordering items this way was inconvenient, as at most other sushi buffets I've visited, all orders are placed and brought to your table or are all on the conveyer.
The quality of the seafood was very good and fresh. However the Nori seaweed used for the hand rolls was the worst I've ever eaten at a sushi restaurants, as it was very tough. Also, none of the rice used to prepare sushi was seasoned.
Many of the appetizers were room temperature , which was very disappointing. Some of the items that should have been hot are the tempura shrimp and fried oyster. The grilled salmon teriyaki was nice a hot and very delicious.
We chose the bar and waited 40 minutes to be seated, the food conveyor belt was empty at 1pm and the waiters didn't want to take orders at the bar. You had to wait in line 10 people long every time you wanted to order something to eat.

We got to this Fuji location pretty late, and the server was very cool for giving us fair warning that we would only have 30 minutes before last call. Once we got seated, the sushi guys were so awesome and waiters and the rest of the staff were amazing! Service was A+! We'll have to come back here in the future!
