Today we went to eat at IHOP at Clayton Rd.Normally it is not halal, but we were told they serve halal food. We confirmed this on the phone before going, and after arriving we asked again if everything on the menu was halal. We were told yes.
While placing our order, we specifically asked if the T-bone steak was halal, and the server confirmed that it was. However, after waiting about 20 minutes, they came back and apologized, saying the server was mistaken and that they do not have halal steak. We were asked to order something else. We then ordered classic burgers, but they were undercooked, not juicy, and had a stale, rubbery texture. It was very disappointing. We were also not given any napkins. I ordered broccoli as a side, but instead received fries. Later, the server admitted they had missed my burger order, yet I still never received the broccoli.
Overall, the food and service were very poor. After coming home, my husband and I both felt nauseous due to the undercooked burgers. This was a very unpleasant experience, and we will not be returning.

It was a slow Tuesday morning at IHOP. The waiter was perfectly friendly and the service was excellent but the classic Eggs Benedict was so salty it was disgusting. I mean, isn't the salt shaker on the table there so that you can choose how much salt you want and your food. This meal probably had an entire day's worth of salt in one little breakfast. Blech 🤢

Its Breakfast food all day! Was greeted by our server (I forgot his name) tall latin guy with a 'stache and offered to get my drink right off hand and led my husband to our table whos walking around looking for me LOL. Very warm and inviting vibes in terms of service. Food is food. Same ol' same ol'. A+ for service.
