I go weekly and they've changed their frosting. King's had the best donuts for the longest time, but a couple of months ago they changed their frosting, and it's a bad change. It's sweeter, and not as flavorful. Tastes less like chocolate and more like sugar. My kids don't care, and the donut batter and cook is still good, but it's a worse donut than it was a year ago.
The most AMAZING donuts...each were really fresh, fluffy, light and not greasy at all! We live in England now so really miss great American donuts and these really hit the spot! Fabulous coffee too! Highly recommend!
We are not much for donuts, but once or twice a month I will treat the family. I've lived in Concord for over twenty years, but King's is a little far away from me and the traditional places that I go.
