I had a bad experience. Service was OK. I was seated at a table that was relatively grimy and greasy and then I ordered a simple taco with rice and beans. It was shredded beef, but it was more like shredded shoe leather had no spice no taste and it was gross. I ate a little bit of the rice and beans And bolted out of there $20. I’ll never get back again.

Used to go here every week about 15 years ago. Went today for the first time in 15 years. What happened? Both me and my wife feel sick. The food is twice as expensive...20 bucks for a burrito with enchillada sauce on it? I feel like crap and That is all I have had to eat today. This place used to be so good...we even had them cater our wedding. But no mas... Oh well, maybe try again in 15 years.

On 8/22/24 Ordered camarones Al mojo de ajo they were sour with lemon I think the lemon overpowered the garlic shrimp were tuff they kind of seemed bad so they covered the spoiled shrimp with lemon

This is a quaint, authentic, friendly Mexican food restaurant. We visited from out of town and asked a local where yo go for a good breakfast and they recommended La Pinata. We are so gkad we took their advice. We had the chilaquilas with carne asada. The portions were large and the food was fantastic. It came with rice and beans - the brand were also fabulous. It was more than enough to take home and enjoy later in the day as well. The atmosphere inside is cozy and comfortable. We sat outside on the patio which was very nice on a Sunday am. Looking forward to visiting again when we're back in Concord.
Watch your bill. I ordered plain water to drink but was charged 3.95 for soda water. 2nd time this has happened

Went here for a birthday dinner celebration. Prior to going, I checked the reviews and looked at the menu. ..they had 3 stars, so I was leary! I've been to the ones in the Bay Area YYYEEAAARRRSSS ago, but they weren't memorable. I ordered a mango margarita ? with Don Julio .. ..for $20 you'd think it would be amazing... ? for dinner, I ordered the Super Famoso Burrito with chicken. ... I wasn't impressed. To-go I ordered my husband the Super Steak, and he said it was good. ..he ate it all. ??♀️
They definitely need a better checkout system for larger groups. Even when I called to inquire, the response was vague. I don't need to go back ✌?

It's been 2 times that I've ordered takeout and I'm always missing things and while eating there I got a stone in my beans and the waitress, instead of taking action, just laughed sarcastically, if she had recorded and taken photos and reported it to the health authorities, and I have also seen that the same thing has happened to Americans and they do not charge the fee and since one is Latin they only say come on for what you lack and spending gasoline is more expensive for me because the prices are expensive
