Worst food poisoning of my life. & now that I’m looking at other recent reviews, it looks like others have got food poisoning too along with other sanitation concerns. So disgusting and dangerous. Never eating here again.

This is a casual family type of mexican restaurant.. We had family of 6 on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was not very busy. The food & service was good. They do have burgers and non Mexican food on the menu also.

They serve drunk patrons that then went out and keyed my car. The manager and bartender were no help and would not let me see the security camera. I have to say I never felt so racially targeted / given poor treatment before this.

We love this place for a casual authentic Mexican meal. When I was a teen and into my twenties, I would frequently go to La Piñata 1. When my mother moved to Pleasant Grove, and then later to Walnut Creek, we began visiting La Piñata 6. Same great food and wonderful service. We always sit outside. There is a decent sized outdoor seating area. Inside is very large and can accommodate parties. The food is good and authentic. They have a bar with excellent drinks. It is casual and extremely comfortable and you are made to feel at home.

I had such a great experience at La Piñata Restaurant! I ordered the burrito, and I have to say, I’ve tried burritos at many different places, but none of them come close to the one here – it was absolutely delicious and perfectly made. The flavors, portion, and freshness were just on another level.
A special thanks to Nathan for his outstanding customer service. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made me feel truly welcomed. His professionalism and kindness really stood out and made the experience even better.

Everything was lacking!
We were here for a farewell gathering and had made a reservation specifically for the back bar area, with very clear instructions about where we wanted to be seated. However, they overbooked and attempted to seat us elsewhere, attempting to completely disregarding our request.
The service was extremely lacking due to being short-staffed, even though they knew they had multiple large parties with reservations. We had to either wait long periods for someone to check on us or go track someone down ourselves. At one point, we got tired of waiting for to-go boxes and ended up grabbing them ourselves.
To make matters worse, when I looked over at the bar, I saw gnats crawling all over the garnishes (olives, cherries, lemons, limes, oranges, etc). I pointed it out to the bartender and said they should be all be thrown away and the fresh garnish covered. He casually replied, “I know, but they don’t have covers,” and just shrugged it off.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion.
