We were in Concord and looking for some good Mexican food. My husband found this place on Yelp and decided we should try it. We came in on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy. As soon as we walked through the door we could smell food and it smelled delicious. The server came over as soon as we sat down to take our order. She was very nice and answered the questions we had. She brought over chips, salsa and beans. I had a top shelf margarita it was very good. I ordered the chile verde it was delicious. My husband and son got burritos. They came with sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo on the side. They were both very happy with their food. I had a bite of burrito it was delicious too. Our food came out pretty quickly and everything was hot and fresh. Our server did check on us to see if we were happy with our food or needed refills on our drinks. The women's bathroom was extremely clean and the restaurant had some great art on the walls. They also have a TV the baseball game was on while we were dining. This was a great find we really enjoyed this place and will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Was in the area and was looking for some Mexican food and found this place on Yelp. Came in and was seated right away and fast drink orders. Got a beer and the wife ordered a Mango Margarita. Mugs were chilled and beer was cold. Me and my kid ordered the super steak burritos and my wife got the Chile Colorado. The burrito was excellent and the meat was seasoned really good. They serve the chips with a mild salsa and refried beans. You can ask for a hot sauce which they will bring in a dip cup. That salsa is really good. They aren't skimpy on the sour cream and guacamole with the burrito. They had baseball and basketball playing on the TVs. They also have a sit down bar where we may sit next time we don't have the kiddo. Will be back!

Why does the food at Concord La Tapatia taste so different than the one in Martinez ! OMG The beans, rice, enchiladas, and tacos ! SALT SALT SALT ! Does the owner eat there ? It used to be so good, now just horrible !

Steady, reliable and tasty. Our go-to place for Mexican food. An excellent combination of atmosphere, food and service.
I was with a group of about 30 people from my church (New Hope), and we had a fantastic meal on a Friday night. Our server, Francisca, was amazing and gave us excellent service. The food was delicious and hot, and came out fast. We were all served quickly. I will definitely go back and recommend for large parties.
