We've made South American cuisine part of our regular repertoire lately, at least a couple times a month. Lima is a bit out of our normal area but we saw it once and read the reviews, and decided to make the trek for a birthday dinner. We're very glad we did. It is one of the better Peruvian restaurants we've been to, certainly #1 in the Bay Area. We had the empanada sampler, aguadito soup, seafood platter, poor man's steak, and a couple cocktails. If you have not been to Lima, then you are missing out on some of the best food in Concord. Ordered the Fish Stew and Lobster special, was so NOT disappointed. Very well prepared and so delicious. The staff is so kind and friendly. We love everything we have tried here. Get on the email list for awesome specials.

The Ceviche had a very good blend of flavors a day was very delicious. The chicken empanadas weren't that great. The outer breading was nice and flaky but the chicken tasted like boiled chicken that was shreaded then stuffed into the breading. It really didn't have any spice or other flavor that stood out. Unfortunately that wasn't that good at all.
