Our server was friendly and attentive but I have a feeling they’re getting their marching orders to push the specials hard from upper management. I’ll be happy to hear what the specials are, but if I didn’t want the lobster Mac and cheese the first time, asking me again will not change my mind.

I expected more from ratings and perhaps we caught them on bad day. Fish batter was heavily oily, untasteful. A "2" at best. However, Oysters Good, a "4" as was waiter service......Spinach was good, but preparation sanitariness got a "1" after I witnessed the cooking staff using bare hands to pack spinach, and after scratching face and scalp! Reported to manager but got no vow to have staff use gloves. Hope they decide to do so.

Tasty food, although I wish the ahi nachos had more substance (they’re mostly plain chips). The ambiance is nice, the bar is gorgeous, and the location is easy to get to with ample parking. Service is docked a star because our waitress checked on us almost constantly which was a bit much. Highly recommend the bone marrow!

The crab special was pretty tasty, but I was such a mess covered in garlic butter that I kind of hurried through dinner so I could wash up and didn't enjoy it as much. If the butter/sauce was only on the side I think it would have been better.Parking is a disaster at the Veranda, I will try to remember to only come back for lunch.

My wife and I decided to check out Longport Fish Company (LFC) at the Veranda in Concord because she wanted to have seafood for dinner.Parking ⭐️If you've never been to the Veranda, plan to be early because parking is always a pain. Parking isn't the restaurant's fault and won't be included in my overall rating, but it's worth noting.Reservations ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We went to LFC on a Saturday night, so I decided to make reservations for 5 pm, just to be safe. Not sure if it was a slow night, but there were a lot of seats available when we arrived and were seated immediately. I would still recommend making reservations.Atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The decor was nice and modern. There are a couple of big screen TVs near the front of the restaurant, but none in the back, so if you want to catch a game on the tube while having dinner, then make sure you sit near the front of the house. The dish came with a big sized portion of deep-fried soft shell crab, which was good. The linguini pasta was black, which I've never seen before, but was cooked perfectly. That's about where the good ends. The uni sauce was tasty but hard to distinguish because of all of the oil. It was also a little spicy, which I may have missed when our server went over it. Nothing bad, just pointing that out if you're not into spicy food.
