This is one of our favorite, secluded, romantic restaurants in Concord, CA. We bring friends and family here for special moments and memories. Tonight I dined with my beautiful wife, and enjoyed their duck special, along with Olive pesto, 6 raw oysters, plus a chilled glass of Peroni. Great night to be with someone you love. Spumoni for dessert. All to Frank Sinatra on the music box. Each visit is special. This is a reliable spot for good memories, great food, and a relaxing, chill vibe to break the routines of life.Parking: Spots are available at 530pm

I made a reservation on the official website, got an SMS confirmation, arrived at the restaurant, and found out that it's closed on Sunday at 2:30 pm!!! Working hours on the door say it should be open, but it's definitely not.

Luna has become our goto for fabulous Italian food. Last night was our 8th visit and we enjoyed the Olive Pesto appetizer with soft warm bread. A Mista salad, the Duck and the Bolognase. The atmosphere was marvelous, the food scrumptious, and the staff really inviting. The owner welcomed us as we arrived and bade good night as we left to walk home.Luna is the best of a neighborhood eatery with 5-star cuisine. Walk or drive, you have to come here!Parking: One way street from Willow Pass.A few outdoor tables in good weather. Seating for about 80 or so in Two's and Four's, but can accommodate larger parties.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a bit tight, but they have always succeded in accommodating our mobility issues with advance notice.

Just went here for the first time and it was a great experience. Had the veal and it didn’t disappoint. Great service and I’ll definitely be coming back.Parking: There is limited street parking but that’s to be expected on a Saturday night. If all else fails, park in one of the free parking garages on salvio. It’s a nice but not far of a walk.

Doesn't say they close between lunch and dinner. Brought my Mom who has been craving and got there and it's closed.

I reserved a table 3 weeks in advance for Valentine’s Day. When we arrived at 7pm the line was way back outside with other people who had also made reservations. We were told that they had double booked! It was also raining and cold. We waited outside for over an hour and then decided it was not worth the wait so decided to leave. They also had a $75 set menu which we were not notified of before hand . Needless to say they ruined our planned Valentine’s Day !We will never go there again .Very greedy owners to double book. Why take reservations in the first place if you do this.I’m sure many other people feel the same way as I do I heard enough complaints while I was in line waiting.

We used to love this restaurant and now we will never go back! Their reservation system is a joke (read the Yelp comments). Even with a reservation, they will not take you on-time and they will either make you wait in the middle of the dinning room with everyone at table staring at you, or outside in the rain cold due to the ridiculously small space. The food has really gone downhill. My chicken parm was burnt and the chef tried to "hide" it by turn the chicken over and drowning it in sauce when the entire bottom was black and hard as a rock. I wish I could upload the picture. My dates Salmon was burnt, the veggies were burnt and they refused to remake the Salmon or give us credit for it on the bill (they did remake my chicken parm which the meal was over by the time I got it). The service is TERRIBLE. The staff could care-less. We were waiting in the middle of the dinning room over 30 mins PAST our reservation time and there was an open dirty table in the corner, the bus boy looked at us multiple times and walked around in circles without cleaning the table. Finally I had to tell the manager to "clean the table up and help us!" which he gave me a blank stare and laughed at me like it was a joke. So many people were upset at the restaurant about different things that the "owner" started walking around trying to talk to people and pretend that he knew everyone at every table- it was a poor joke. The "owner" should have gotten out of hiding in the back and starting busing tables and working while his poorly trained staff tried to deal with the "onslaught" in the dinning room. There is far better Italian restaurants in the area- stay away from this one!

We really enjoyed Luna. We were late for our reservation and it's a quaint restaurant so the wait was questionable. It was a full house, we sat at the bar and was moved to a table within 20 minutes or so. The owner came out and greet everyone. We got to try one of their spinach salads on the house. The entrees were flavorful. We will be returning soon ?

Waited outside for over an hour ( in the rain) on Valentine's Day even though I made a reservation 3weeks in advance. About 50 other people with reservations were outside waiting also . I decided to leave cause there was at least another hours wait worth. They had purposely double overbooked everyone . Ruined our Valentine's Day plans. Also was not made aware in advance that there was a set $75 menu per person. The things that was available on the set menu I would never usually order. Very unprofessional and bad for future business.

Made dinner reservations for Valentine's Day. They intentionally double/overbooked, and so there was an incredibly long line of others who also had reservations. While other restaurants might at least save you some dignity by letting you wait inside where it's dry and warm, they forced us to wait outside in pouring rain and 50-degree weather. We left after nearly half an hour past our reserved time. I wouldn't bother coming here again.

First, let me start by saying, Luna is one of our most favorite restaurants. The food is delicious, all the way through & we've enjoyed every dining experience. We made reservations for Valentine's, knowing it was going to be busy & crazy even! We were seated right away & had a lovely prix fixed menu to look over. I was disappointed with the service, understanding, it was probably one of the most profitable nights. (I saw the line on the way out!). Our waiter was not engaged at all, not really hearing what we were saying, catching every other word type thing. We waiting much too long, in between even getting our waters. Again I knew it would be busy, I just didn't enjoy the experience as much as I wanted to. With that being said, we'll be back again.

Overbooked. Had to wait outside in the rain and cold for 25 minutes past reservation time. Food was delicious but price was 50% higher on fixed menu than it would've been Ala carte. Service once inside was very good. Should've discounted meal for inconvenience.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the tiramisu was hands down fantastic. We had a waiter named Beverly--I think and she was super kind and gave us a great experience. If you happen to have the chance, definitely go?
