I'm surprised there weren't more reviews for this place. This place is a hidden gem. First time I tried the birria ramen I thought where the hell has this been all my life! It's like a beef stew seasoned with tapatio and has ramen noodles. Today I tried the shrimp mango habanero tostada and it was amazing! So refreshing and I love the right amount of spice from the habanero and sweetness from the mangos. And PLENTY of shrimp. They are not stingy on that. Love this place and want to try all the menu items. Very high quality taste and ingredients!

If you're ever craving for late night tacos, they have the best in Concord. IMO. They have a wide selection from shrimp, to carnitas to fish, even tripe. I always get 1 of each. And then I finally tried the Ramen Birria. OMG. The beef was so tender and the dish was very much like a hangover comfort food. Everything I ever gotten from there is bomb.

They sometimes (rarely) have a taco bar "outside" that's scrumptiously delicious and the guy that runs it is super nice.The truck is sometimes good sometimes not and the lady out there isn't very nice.The restaurant is also is sometimes good sometimes not.

The service was great and so was my food. I feel for the cooks and the staff because it really gets hot in the restaurant as a customer eating inside the restaurant. The cooks have to deal with that and cooking along with the staff. I am not sure if the restaurant isn’t equipped with air conditioning unit but it would be hard to work in that heat. This time I took my food home with me. You have to appreciate the cooks and staff for doing their best in today’s hot temperatures. Try and give them a great tip if you can because I could tell today they were doing their best to get orders out and make sure customers are happy.
The chicken quesadillas were by far the best we've ever had!

HOW TO ?
Be ware what it’s shown on the menu pictures it’s not how they serve it. The carne asada plate picture has avocado on it. When I was served my carne azada plate did not have the avocado. I asked for it, I was told by that they only show the plate on the menu with the avocado on it. That I had to purchase a side if I wanted it it the way they advertised it.

I had high expectations for this place. I have visited this location many times before and I was very satisfied. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed by the staff service and the food quality. The cook didn't get my order quite right the first and second time. I just couldn't eat it all. May be the cook was having a bad day. I hope they improve their customer service.
