Great sashimi

Slow service surprisingly. We had a table of 7 and a birthday girl. Asked kindly about getting some sort of birthday cake or something and they did not mention a charge for it. We wouldn’t want it if we had to pay. Disrespectful to charge for something we weren’t aware of. This needs to change.

We’ve dined here a few times but today Gabe made our experience memorable. We never once had to ask for our drinks to be refilled, he did it without ask. Sauces were brought out to us with extra and explanation without asking. Checked in on us and at the end boxes ready check ready. I felt like we were his only table, so considerate and on point. Thank you Gabe for a great dine in experience we’ll be back and we’ll be asking for only you!

Went here for lunch today and had an amazing waiter. The food was fresh and tasty and exactly what I expected. The sushi is a little more expensive than your average place but not to bad.

Food is delicious, i eat sushi all over the bay and this place is 1 of my 3 favourites.

Amazing! We hosted a work lunch here in May. They went above and beyond to accommodate the group. Listened to exactly what I wanted and executed it perfectly. Food was amazing. I believe our server was Gabriel and he was a literal angel. We can’t wait to go back!

The food was delish 🤤 but I didn't like the service, the waiter never came back not even for the check we had to wait for a while and then we decided to get up and pay in the front.

Walked in on a Friday at 5 pm and sat at the sushi bar. Our initial server took our drink order then disappeared for about 15 minutes. Come to find out he left for the day! Our second server was very nice, but definitely​ spread thin. Food was good.

We’ve been coming here since 2020 and was my number one recommendation to others. However, over the recent year the quality of food has gone down significantly! The food is hit or miss, more miss than hit.

Today, the scallops tasted old, panko shrimp mostly panko on the Marilyn Monroe. My husband got the Carmen Roll, deep fried, with real crab rather than mix. The fry on both lobster and the roll was soggy and lacked substance for an up charge on the real crab. The green beans also soggy and an old taste to it.

In spite of the food, the service provided by the bar tender was GREAT! He was great and understanding!

The restaurant is beautiful. Great location. There was a lot more seating availability out on the patio which was heated. In general a long wait on a Saturday. Very busy. It was also quieter on the patio for those folks who need a quieter setting. The only drawback is that we felt a bit forgotten about on the patio and our service was friendly but not frequent. The miso soup was disappointing with 2 pieces if tofu and no seaweed. Food was good but definitely more of an American take on sushi. You have to ask for Wasabi and ginger.
