Walked in on a Friday at 5 pm and sat at the sushi bar. Our initial server took our drink order then disappeared for about 15 minutes. Come to find out he left for the day! Our second server was very nice, but definitely spread thin. Food was good.
The restaurant is beautiful. Great location. There was a lot more seating availability out on the patio which was heated. In general a long wait on a Saturday. Very busy. It was also quieter on the patio for those folks who need a quieter setting. The only drawback is that we felt a bit forgotten about on the patio and our service was friendly but not frequent. The miso soup was disappointing with 2 pieces if tofu and no seaweed. Food was good but definitely more of an American...

Mikoni is a place I will never stop visiting whenever I’m in California. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I ordered the same sushi three times during my visit it was that good! The ambiance is chill and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a relaxed meal.
