5 stars for the food, 1 star for the service.
They don’t answer the phone to make an order before you get there, and if you order there good luck waiting for 30-45min :(

Best Naan n Curry in the Bay Area

I’ve been coming here for years, and it continues to be one of my go-to spots every time I’m in the area—especially right after landing at SFO. It’s practically tradition at this point.

The service is always friendly and efficient, even when the place gets packed (which it often does). Just a heads-up: it’s not the best spot for large groups, especially during peak hours. Space is tight, and it fills up quickly.

Food-wise, I’ve consistently enjoyed my meals here. The tandoori chicken has been rock-solid over the years—flavorful, juicy, and always cooked just right. The naan is also perfect every time—warm, fluffy, with that slightly charred edge that makes it irresistible.

I do miss how the Chicken Tikka Masala used to taste—it’s changed a bit and doesn’t quite hit the same anymore. Also had a hiccup when I asked for samosa chaat and was given two plain samosas instead. Apparently, they don’t serve samosa chaat, which was disappointing, especially since it’s a staple at many similar places.

Still, the quality and consistency of most of the dishes keep me coming back. Definitely worth the stop—especially if you’re coming in from a long flight and craving something flavorful and comforting.

Food was spicy hot, and I would prefer a little milder.
Portions are getting smaller, compared with other Indian restaurants generally.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available

Kid-friendliness: No issues with kids coming and enjoying the food and environment.

Genuinely the most disappointing curry I’ve ever had, and I am incredibly easy to please. Maybe the other dishes were good, but the curry was grey and the only spice you could taste was cloves. I have never in my life before dining here had such sorry indian food. I’m new to the area, and after seeing how well beloved this spot is, it’s made me wary of all other indian food around if THIS is considered “the best” by so many, and sees so much business.

It was so busy the food wasn’t all that great because of it. It seemed liked they were so busy they were trying to keep up with demand over quality. Also I was a guest and the family I was with had a relationship with what seemed like the owner. When it came time to pay I insisted and all of the sudden the price jumped an extra $20 dollars. Didn’t appreciate being taken advantage of knowing I’d be embarrassed or embarrassing, calling him out in front of my little cousin. Restaurant has no ethics.

We loved our food ? Everything was delicious ? The man behind the register helped us order. I liked this place for its authentic food taste. The parking was street parking. No parking lot. The Restaurant was wheelchair ? accessible. We will definitely be returning back to the restaurant. It’s like a home cooked meal at a family member’s home. Our recommendation is to try it for yourself. You will definitely love it!!! Just as we did!!!

It was my first time coming here, and it was the worst experience ever. The Coke did not taste like Coke. I kept trying to explain to the workers, and none spoke any English. They don’t even know what Coke tastes like. I asked all my friends if it tasted weird, and they all said it was watered down. Then the food came: the chicken curry. I saw one piece of chicken leg, the bone was crushed, and the neck of the chicken. I basically got 1 pound of bones. There was no meat on those bones. I don’t know where they buy their chicken, but they are starving them. I like to eat some type of chicken or meat with my food; I turned vegetarian eating here. The only good thing was the bread. Turn this place into a bakery. My biggest thing was that no one spoke English; I couldn’t communicate with anyone to tell them their drink machine is not carbonated. I never leave a review only when it’s really bad. My stomach started hurting while just eating the food. I looked at the kitchen, not clean at all. The waiter wiped our table with a dirty towel.
