The food is excellent with fresh local ingredients and the service is always warm and gracious. We particular enjoy their happy hour. The happy hour burger and fries is the best deal in town for the quality of the meal. Everything is nice. I highly recommended this restaurant.

The heirloom tomato salad was one of the best I’ve enjoyed anywhere. We shared a Mediterranean appetizer plate which was really terrific. The sausage and pepperoni pizza was small but very tasty. The focaccia bread and spiced olive oil was the best we’ve had anywhere.

We have tried the Beef Dip/Steak Sandwich offerings at several restaurants in the East Bay and hands down, this is the best! The fresh bread soaks the au jus without falling apart and the beef (and gravy) are perfectly seasoned. Fries on the side and this is an ample serving to share.

I had the beet salad and tuna sandwich. The beet salad was yummy. The hard boiled egg and avocado seemed to mask the flavor of the tuna. I ended up just eating the tuna with a fork.

We enjoyed having our Thanksgiving dinner here. All of dishes available in the buffet were of excellent quality with delicious flavors. There was enough of a selection to satisfy all who attended. We will consider returning to Plate & Vine in the future.
