Food was excellent, but took a long time to arrive at the table. The waiter was quick to bring drinks and gave good service. The sushi chefs were behind in serving ( possibly short staffed?)
The server was great, the guy that checked us in was not!! I told him I had a reservation in the outdoor tables, made it so the kids would be able to be able to see the fireworks and he tells me well I have a big party that I'm going to sit out there so you won't be able to sit outdoors. What's the whole point of making a reservation in advance if they are going to seat you wherever they want. I understand if walk-in but not happy with the way he addressed it.

The sushi was good but a few pieces fell apart while picking them up. The chicken skewers were a little over cooked. All the other Happy Hour food was very good. The service was good and the server was very friendly. We are returning customers and will always come back.
Serve timing was off, one order was simply forgotten. Was taken off bill, though. Food was good...not great. I'm from Indiana, but lived in Japan for 4 years. Maybe my expectations were too high.

We are happy we gave this place another try after our bad experience last time. It appears they are still short staffed but our waitress ( I cannot remember her name at the moment) she was so great. Very attentive and made the dinning experience great. She was friendly and did a wonderful job. We spoke with the manager and told him how happy we were with the food and the service and that we would return. He was working his tail off delivering food and making sure all the tables had what they needed. We appreciate that they are working so hard to make it a good experience. Way to go to the service and the food! Thank you

I really want to like this place. When they first opened they seemed very upscale, but the service has never been. The food is good, but the service is always so bad I can only come back once a year. This most recent visit we made a reservation ahead of time, and when we walked in we stood by the front door for 20 minutes before someone acknowledged us. Multiple employees walked by and looked at us, but nobody could even say "Someone will be with you shortly." It seemed like a lot of the employees were hiding in the back as much as possible. When someone finally did check us in, we still had to wait another 20 minutes before we were seated, and the restaurant was only half full. Then anothe 15 minutes before anybody even offered us water. This place could make a lot more money if they learned how to turn tables over faster, but they havent figured it out.

The food is always good at RA Sushi. I recommend getting a reservation so as to enjoy your dining experience, open table works great! The restaurant looks to still not be at full staff, so they cannot fully sit all tables. Service was great, food came out timely.
Not sure if it's because it was understaffed or if it's the server. When we got there thru reservation, we were seated right away but our order wasn't taken til after 3o mins. It was around 4pm and there were only 3 group of guests. Just no positive energy there, not sure if because the server was tired (which she told us when she took our drink order) that it was a long day for her. Diet pepsi & sierra mist were watery. We asked to replace it. She said for the diet pepsi that “that's the last of it.” We ordered bunch of food cuz there were 9 of us and it's happy hour. One of them was 2 orders of shrimp shumai. They served 1 of 2 and said the remaining is coming. We got done eating.. 30 mins after we just had to cancel it. Just very unorganized at that time. I still gave them 18% tip of the $190 check though i feel like it wasn't really deserving. Hope management can figure out what's going on. Thank you.

Empty restaurant, even with the reservation still waited 25 min to be seated, dirtiest table with food all over the floor. Server said it's because they didn't has a busboy today, unacceptable. We left. Not the first time I'm disappointed at this place/service but this is the last time. Go to Chino Hills Ra instead, have never had a bad experience there.

Came for my sisters birthday first time at this location. We had a horrible experience. Our server was not attentive drinks got there 20 mins later. Birthday girl order an alcoholic beverage and it arrived an hour later. Our soups came out cold. Every time we asked our server for something like more water or sauce it took a long time. Our check took a long time and over charged us for one of the soups we did not want because it was cold!

Disappointed as I recommended place to my girlfriend for us to meet for dinner and catch up. Food took a long time and the tempera came out cold. The waitress was nice and drinks were good and they compensated for the cold food. However, food was not as good as my first experience at the chino hills location.
