Roadtrip Bowls Made by Lazy Dog

We love the patio area with its seating around a huge fire pit. They have their own beer on tap. It can be hit and miss though with availability. Often out of one or more of their taps. Food is typical pub restaurant, although they do their own take on these favorites. There are not many gluten-free options.

We were dining here once again after participating in the annual “Pearl Harbor Day Remembrance” lighting of the Mt Diablo Beacon. Have always enjoyed our times here. But not this time. Ordered a new menu addition “Pretzel wrapped chicken schnitzel “ Pretzel wrapped crust was so thick & concrete like I could barely cut the chicken. While the one bite I was able taste seemed ok, the effort was to hard to continue. When asked by the waitress if everything was ok, I told her the entree was inedible, she made no inquiry if I wanted to order something else, but brought me a to go box! No apparent concern on her part. Paid our bill, and asked to speak to someone in charge, who’s response was “sorry” Like the place, but won’t be back!

I love lazy dog. They have something for everyone as far as food goes and my sweet dog Maddie loves the chicken bowl. There are always dogs to pet and meet. I love it.

False advertisement. You get about half of what's depicted in the advertised photo. I got the curry bowl and it was very tasty, but it was absolutely false advertising with the small amount of food I got. It also did not come with the advertised cup of sauce. It came out to a whopping $22.

Waitress was constantly checking if we needed anything else.. she was friendly. It’s a nice place to eat with the family.

Initially excited to go here (hadn't been before) and has fun and comfortable feel upon walking in. Prices were okay and food underwhelming. If you are interested in just having some beers and moderate quality apps and watching some sports on TV, worthy stop. They do have large areas for group gatherings, including outdoor space.

We were a reunion of 6 and had lunch here. Hostess veiwed our COVID vaccination proofs. Our waitress was very patience, professional, and helpful with us. Drinks, iced teas, and water came right away after our order. Tasty, good portions, and the food came together. Everyone was happy with their meal; fish tacos, chicken sandwiches, and cheeseburger. Thank you Lucky Dog for making our lunch a happy memorable get together.

I needed sustenance on my way home from the airport. My favorite restaurant in town was closed on Sunday, so I hunted on TripAdvisor for an alternative. Lazy Dog sounded good, so I gave it a try. It was great! Rather than waiting for a table, I took a seat at the bar (since I was alone). The server there, Shannon, was a gem! She's real people, not pretentious, but still classy. She guided me through the menu, and I ended up with a burger with blue cheese. The food arrived quickly, and was cooked perfectly. Accompanied by really good fries that were not overly salted like so many places. I had a water, and there was no pressure to get a drink, even though I was at the bar. Atmosphere is nice-casual, with a very subtle western cowboy feel (only in the artwork; there are no saddles or other western cliche items hanging on the walls). The place is a bit noisy, but mostly from customers' conversation, not from overly-loud music. This was a great place for me to refuel at a descent price.
