Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

The chocolate apples are exceedingly stale and highly over priced. The owner or manager stated before that they use the highest quality chocolate, and I’m sure they do. But chocolate still goes bad, especially if left out way too long. One can tell if chocolate is changed every so often. And, for the sake of saving money on their end, it’s in my belief that they only mix in new chocolate chips along with the old, already melted chocolate. Hence the reason for all FOUR of our apples being stale.

Most of the chocolate we purchased tastes like soap! Haystacks (both white and milk chocolate), peanut butter cups, etc. $44 worth of garbage chocolate. I will stick with See's.

The hours say 8 an we showed up at 720 an they were closing.

If you like chocolate, when you visit this store you will want to take everything, I really liked the ingenuity and flavor, I imagined eating a chocolate for dessert after dinner in this very relaxing cold or for romantic dinners it could be that sexy touch so as not to fall into a routine with your partner.

This is my third weekend in the row of going due to my cravings of chocolate covered strawberries for the past few weeks. As always, I ask if the strawberries are fresh and the lady working tonight said they were. Unfortunately, that was not true. All of the strawberries I've gotten tonight are all rotten!!! You know the strawberries are already rotten before dipping them so why not just throw them away? For $20+ (which I know is not a super crazy amount) but it is still my hard earned money, I don't want rotten strawberries. Needless to say, I will not be returning and hopefully you train the staff on not using rotten strawberries.

Delicious caramel-candy apples. Butterfinger caramel apples are my favorite, but there's many options. There's also other sweet treats as well.

So many apples and treats to pick from. We got the cheesecake apple, s’mores apple, and a simple Carmel apple. They were all so delicious! Definitely fixed our sugar craving. If you’re driving far don’t cut your apple there. You should cut it at home so it doesn’t get brown. Definitely will come back again! Customer service was great!

Only complaint, don't have the red candy apples
