Old school diner, looks and feel, great portion sizes of amazing food! The Chicken Fried steak, the Biscuits and Gravy are some of the best I've ever had!! The service is from another era, friendly, nice, and attentive!!
The food here is great and inexpensive, but the service is what stands out. Everyone is friendly and attentive. Great traditional breakfast/lunch place.

My name is Stephanie Reynolds and I have eaten here before and when I went there to eat and I brought my dog named Lulubell before she died, I took her inside and then they told me that l couldn’t have her inside. It is a discrimination against service animals not being allowed to bring your service animals in a restaurant
I have been going to the sugar plum since 1966 it has always been a great place to eat and share there hearty and friendly meal can't say enough about the place so and enjoy every one I know loves the plum.
