Sushi Momoyama was my go-to for years; not anymore. They once offered good quality at great prices. As of 2026 they offer par quality at high prices:
All my rolls were smothered in a thick blanket of overly-wet rice that barely qualified as sushi rice. My 49er Roll was no longer adorned with paper-thin slices of delicate lemon for that tangy hit of citrus. Rather, nearly 1/4” thick slices of bitter and unripe lemon now adorned my favorite roll.
Staff are amazing. The quantity of food is high. The quality has declined a lot… I am very sad to say that I will not return here again.
It is of note that they have always been packed; it was barely occupied this visit.

Been here a few times, I see Japanese people eating here so the food must be good. Sushi rolls, hand rolls, miso soup, eel are good choices. It's hard to miss the plaza entrance to the parking lot as it's hard to see from the road.

Great service and great food. Our favorite is the seafood salad but we’ve never been disappointed with anything we’ve ordered here.
I recently visited this sushi restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. I ordered a chicken teriyaki roll, but I got a chicken teriyaki plate. And despite clearly saying 'roll,' the worker rudely insisted that I needed to specify 'roll' next time. This made me feel unnecessarily pressured.
When I kindly asked for the roll to be remade, another worker quickly mentioned that the kitchen was closing soon. Shortly after, she returned with a plate trying to take the teriyaki off my plate saying the kitchen would make it for me, but at that point, the restaurant was about to close and I didn’t want to feel rushed.
Overall, I truly love this place I hope next time they don’t make me feel bad for not saying things “right”.

Look, if you live in Concord, you're going to balk at the thought of eating sushi on Monument...don't...this is easily the best sushi joint in town. From unique rolls to gorgeous sashimi that lets the quality of the fish shine, this place has something for even the most discerning sushi fan. The only down side is the very moderately priced and rediculously good food draws a massive crowd, so be prepared to wait for a table.
