Ordered take out straight from Yelp. Me and my husband loved it. Got Tikka, garlic Naan, and a mango Lassi. The Lassi wasn't overly sweet which I liked. The Tikka was awesome, tender chicken, rich flavor. Garlic Naan very generous portion. The food was gone in seconds. We will be coming back!

These people stealing money, cheap food and very high prices for no reason, will never recommend if anyone don’t know what indean food cost.

I usually just go to naan n curry because their food is delicious and the prices are fair, they are not charging an arm & leg during tough times post Covid, while all these other restaurants are using this time to jack up prices. Anyway my bf wanted to go someplace where we get our food faster because we were hungry. We came to this place to try out. My instinct was not interested to try this place and I soon realized why. The restaurant from the outside is not inviting but it also isn’t the worst building I’ve seen. We walked in and there was absolutely no one in the restaurant including a host. A woman came out shortly after to say hi and say we can sit anywhere we want. She brought the menu and some water after 2 minutes. We ordered samosa, butter chicken, rice, and cheese naan.We wanted to try the paneer samosa but they were out of it. So we settled for the veg one which I give a 3/5, your standard samosa nothing special. The butter chicken definitely disappointing. The flavor was all off, tasted more like malai kofta curry. The spicy pepper they use was not mixed well into the curry so you would get the taste of Serrano pepper too, which is not how butter chicken is prepared. The menu read “pulled tandoori chicken” but it was cubes like tikka masala curry but a lot smaller. I give the butter chicken a 1/5.The rice was the only thing that was prepared good. Even the naan was made with a different cheese as it mentioned on the menu. The menu reads mozzarella and this naan had some orange cheese, perhaps cheddar or some blend. That was disappointing too. The texture of the naan was better than other places. Fresh and hot out the oven. I give the naan a 3/5, one star for not using the correct cheese and not disclosing to customer of the change. The server was polite and no issue there. The restaurant is not esthetically pleasing. Dirty doors, table setup is odd, and nothing is renovated. The bathroom is not too dirty but definitely needs TLC (a little better than naan n curry’s bathroom)Unfortunately I wouldn’t return because the food itself was mediocre esp the butter chicken (below average.)

What a spot! The garlic naan here? Unreal. Best I've ever had. The food's fantastic. The vibe? - Cozy and welcoming. The service? - Above and beyond. In short if you're after great Indian food with a side of warm hospitality, Tandoori Flames is your place.

maybe this is a type of restaurant you have to eat in the restaurant because let me tell you I ordered the chat masala and the butter chicken two very basic dishes that you can't really go wrong with first of all I put spicy they gave it to me, no spice whatsoever the better chicken taste more like butter than anything else. The chicken was really slimy there was absolutely absolutely no spice... how does a Indian place mess up Garlic Nan? With taxes and fees via DoorDash I paid close to $70 for something so mid I would much rather stick to naan-N Curry next time and paying that extra $10 delivery charge.

Excellent, authentic northern Indian food! The exterior is unassuming but the inside of the restaurant is well setup with great service. The portions are large and we had enough leftovers for a second meal. Highly recommend the vegetarian samosa, pakora and bhindi masala.

They're literally the best Indian food in SJ. I go here at least 3 times a week and they've never missed. My food is always perfect, even when delivered and the owners are soooooo NICE!

Great restaurant with amazing service and great chefs. We ordered the tandori pizza and butter chicken pizza. We also ordered the butter chicken spicy level. The tandori chicken pizza was the standout and the spicy sauce of the butter chicken tasted amazing on the pizza. Definitely recommend and will return.

I really tried to like this but when I say that I hate, hate, hate curry that's sweet The butter chicken was sweet!! It is supposed to be tangy with tomatoes. It was super sweet and tasted like cinnamon.
