Waffles near Concord, CA

“I’ve been here a few times, it’s the French cafe here in the veranda! They do sell out later in the day but there’s no crazy lines or anything that I’ve seen. The workers in my experience are friendly.

There is no space to eat inside so it’s a to-go cafe but it’s situated in the veranda with plenty of seating, a fountain show outside along with a children’s park.

They have crepes with sweet and savory options, along with panics l, waffles, croques, and “French tacos”. Never had them, and they sound interesting!

I’ve had sweet crepes from here, they’re good and delicious, but for the price and quantity that you get, I wouldn’t say that the value is there at all.

Although, they get a 4 star simply because of the quality of their macarons. However, you could find better places unless you’re severely craving crepes and you can’t drive far for it. I will say that the coffee prices are worth it, and they have a nice looking machine behind the counter.“

“I was hungry and decided to give this place a try. They did not disappoint. I ordered the heart attack omelet with hash browns and I left full. It took the waitress using both hands to bring me a plate, keep that in mind when you order. The portions are generous but not excessive, and the food is excellent. It's so good I even got an order of biscuits and gravy to go. Between the omelet with hash browns, the biscuits and gravy, and 3 glasses of tea my bill was less than $40. If you're ever in Martinez and want a good breakfast or lunch you can't go wrong with this place. The staff is on point, the food is worth writing home about, and the atmosphere will give you a good pat on the back.“

“Tata’s is a new cafe style restaurant in the old Fresh Start location on Alhambra Ave in Martinez.
Their diverse menu & generous proportions makes it a great place for breakfast.
Kayleen ordered Strawberry Waffles with coffee, while I ordered a Martinez omelet with hot tea. This place is going places! I recommend everyone give it a try!“
