Lovely family meetup spot. Quiet enough to talk yet lively. Great menu with something for everyone. Chicken Piccatta and Parker House Rolls were a fav. The chef definitely has his game on! We will be back!

Brandon, the bartender at the downstairs bar, was incredible. His knowledge of the art of making cocktails is unreal. His authentic passion made it such an incredible experience. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Best drinks in town, hands down!

Just wanted to make a review of our favorite waitress Abigail. You don't even have to come in with a plan on what to eat or drink. She will walk you through the menu and tell you highlights of what to order. Afterwards she will even give you cocktail pairings for the meal you choose. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our 8 year anniversary which she made extra special. We even got a rhubarb pie which isn't something we normally would order but it was to die for. Thank you for such a wonderful service and hope to be back soon.

Very disappointed. Food was terrible, pork chop could not have been tougher. Octopus was the worst I've ever had, soft, overly salty and slathered with something white and yucky. and the highly priced wine was so cold it never even reach room temperature by the end of the meal. Overpriced, over hyped. DO. NOT. RECOMMEND.

Nice ambience inside, but coming in through that back entrance is uneven, visually odd and dark. Food was good, although when we asked if they had any other bread besides the Parker House Rolls, we were told they only had Pita bread.

The dining room is quite charming, my fav part of this place is the color way and booths . We started w a meat and cheese board which was good and the yellow tail Tuna appetizer on tempura's eggplant .. the tuna dish was great- the cheese board not so special . The rib eye was mediocre to say the least - not a prime cut at all, chewy and tough. We cook a lot- and a lot of steaks, this was not quality meat - that' was the issue. The Mac and cheese was Mac.. topped with cheese - noodles were basically plain under the first layer - no creaminess at all ? They have a great wine list- but the glass is the same as a bottle in a retail store - highway robbery- good stuff tho ... “Lemon pasta” was really good simple - and creamy of not too overwhelming and Al dente perfection. Grilled Romain salad was good. A little soggy, but I think they chopped it necessarily ... I don't think it comes that way normally.

Octopus was cooked perfectly and I would order again; different spin on the prep. Yellowfin was really good on the eggplant tempura; eat right away before it loses the crisp. A5 wagyu was good, but I question whether it was actually A5...... good marbling, but the fats were too stiff to be wagyu. I could be wrong. Service was good, but not michelin status. Ambiance was nice and the first couple next to us were super friendly and nice. Unfortunately they were replaced by a couple that was just ugly and embarrassing in their loud inappropriate convo. I know the establishment can't really address this, but it really ruined our experience and we left prematurely as a result. We may go back one day, especially to check out the speak easy.

Amazing food and service. Spicy Tuna on eggplant and avocado hummus blew us away! The ambiance outside was not the best but the food and service made up for it! Server may have been Ryan - he was exceptional!

Love this place. Atmosphere is beautiful and the music is at a great level - in the background - you can actually hear each other talk! Service is excellent and I love love their lemon pasta!!

We went for Valentine's Day and took our daughter. Traditionally my husband and I don't go out for dinner on Valentine's Day, because of limited menu, elevated prices, so crowded. But I am so happy we decided to try this year and went to CDM restaurant. Our evening was amazing, our server Sam, was so helpful with ordering and the chicken picatta was perfect. Sam made our evening relaxed and we didn't feel rushed along. It was a perfect evening and we look forward to going back!!

The room itself has one of the coolest vibes of any restaurant in OC. Perfect lighting, chill background music and a comfortable classy decor make this place tough to beat. And then you get to the food... and be prepared to be blown away. The menu is well rounded with lots of things that make choosing a single entree very difficult... Too many delicious options to choose from. All of the salads were high-end and well thought out. But what really surprised me the most was how delicious their homemade pastas were. I had the cacio e pepe and thought I was in Italy.I can imagine living nearby and using this as a daily stop… hop on the bar... watch the game... eat their delicious burger... grab a couple of outstanding cocktails... it’s a pretty good night out. Easy to see why this place is one of the top restaurants in Orange County.

The food was fabulous and our food server terrific! The Chicken Piccata was delicious... truly mouth watering! We absolutely LOVE dining at CDM especially when you're lucky enough to get a booth. It's definitely a top choice for fun and special occasions. Always a hit and the food never disappoints!

Way overpriced. We ware seated in the patio and turn out to be driveway under the tent. If I want to go camping I will just go to the forest. Not fine dining. I thought Covid is done
